Attention: we will be closed January 5th - 12th for construction of a privacy fence along the side with our neighbor with dogs. We hope this will minimize distractions and noise from them for our guests. Thank you for continuing to be the best group of guests we could ask for! Large fenced in backyard with trees, shrubs, a shaded area, and multiple seating options. Plenty of room to run around and play. This is ideal for meet and greets if you wish to book with a friend and their dog ... or if you wish to do a training session with your trainer here, because you can begin with a barrier that allows viewing without contact between parties. If you are being considered for fostering or adopting, but you need a safe neutral space for meetings to try meetings, here is a great place for this! Our yard is around .25 acres and fully fenced with a 6ft privacy fence. Only 5 minutes from downtown! We do have a deck (perfect for throwing that ball!) and a patio. We live on a cul-de-sac so parking can be a bit wonky but there are usually spaces available or you’re welcome to pull into our driveway if one of our cars is not there. ***please read*** There’s been a recent disturbance in the lot behind our yard, some developer is cutting down trees and possibly paving a road to a housing unit that has yet to be built. At the moment we’re not sure exactly what is happening but we are gathering more info and will hopefully have a timeline of how long this construction work will be. If your dog is afraid of loud machinery, you may want to reschedule your visit for a Sunday. As of now that seems to be the only day of the week they’re not working back there. We are very sad this is happening near our yard, as part of the reason we bought this house was the privacy we felt in our back yard. Please bare with us as we try to navigate this situation, we will post updates as we get them. We totally understand if you choose to cancel your visit!

We love all breeds and do not discriminate! We are a rescue dog family, having been saved by our previous dog, Trixie! She lived to the amazing age of 20 and crossed the rainbow bridge comfortably at home in March of 2024. Lola now resides with us, a Greyhound/German Shepherd mix who was found on the interstate. She's quirky, anxious and weird so you probably won’t meet her, but we adore her. Please enjoy our yard as much as we do, and keep coming back! *Please be aware, our neighbors to the right and left have dogs and while we always alert them to upcoming reservations, we cannot guarantee nor are we liable for interactions through the fence with their dogs.
