Yoko's 12 Acres Quiet Meadow & 1 Acre Hidden Pond behind the Red Barn

Partially Fenced
12 acres

Where Dogs Run Free, and Humans Slow Down There are easier places to exercise a dog. But this is a place to exhale. Nestled among meadows, towering trees, and a spring-fed pond, this private retreat offers something increasingly rare: space. Space to run. Space to wander. Space to think. Space to do absolutely nothing. Dogs arrive and immediately understand. They sprint through the open fields, follow trails of scent through the grass, splash into the pond, and explore at their own pace. Humans usually take a little longer. They settle into the shade beneath the trees. Listen to the wind moving across the water. Watch clouds drift over the pond. And slowly remember what quiet feels like. We’ve intentionally left the land natural. No crowds. No traffic. No barking from neighboring dog parks. No pressure to hurry. Just open sky, green fields, cool water, and the freedom to enjoy them together. Some days bring bright sunshine and dragonflies skimming the pond. Other days bring dramatic summer clouds rolling across the horizon, turning the landscape into something that feels almost timeless. Every visit is a little different. But the feeling is usually the same. Your dog leaves tired. You leave lighter.

Beagle Boot Camp

Fully Fenced
9 acres

This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

The Meadow Run Private Acreage

Unfenced
5 acres

Welcome to 5 acres of completely secluded, wide-open natural terrain designed for dogs who love to run, hunt, sniff, and work! Nestled directly alongside quiet nature preserves, our property offers incredible privacy and a peaceful escape from suburban distractions. This is not a manicured suburban backyard. Instead, you will find a beautiful, rustic slice of natural country fields featuring tall seasonal grasses, thick brush, and mature trees. It is the ultimate environment for off-leash scent work, long-line recall training, gun dog or sporting breed fundamentals, or just letting a high-energy pup sprint across massive distances without the stress of a public park. To make your visit comfortable, we maintain a wide, freshly mowed walking path that loops entirely through the 5 acres, giving handlers a clean trail to walk while their dogs explore the cover alongside them. The Layout & Safety Details Acreage: 5 full acres of natural, rustic field. Fencing: UNFENCED. This spot is wide open. It is ideal for working breeds, dogs with highly reliable recall, or handlers utilizing training lines. Terrain: Natural, unmowed country field with a mowed walking loop. Please wear sturdy outdoor footwear! Because it is a natural area, we highly recommend up-to-date tick prevention for your pups. Privacy & Homestead Disclosures Total Isolation During Bookings: Your reservation is 100% private. We promise that the 5-acre field will be entirely free of other people and animals for the duration of your visit. Arrival Visibility: Because this is an active homestead, there is a chance you may briefly see us outside taking care of property chores when you first pull into the driveway. However, we will head inside or stay completely clear of the field once you arrive so you can enjoy total privacy. Acoustics: While we have no close or visible neighbors, sound can carry in the country, and you may occasionally hear a neighborhood dog barking in the far distance. Our Animals: For the complete safety and focus of your dogs, our poultry flock is kept completely secure and locked away in their enclosed run during all active bookings. Amenities Provided Dedicated, off-street parking spot right near the field entrance. A clean human seating area near the entrance. Dedicated waste station (trash can + complimentary poop bags). Fresh, clean water station and a dog bowl. Host Rules Please clean up after your pup using the provided waste station. Keep your dog secured until you are in the trail. We have chickens who spend there time around the chicken coop in the front by our home which is not visible from the trail. The neighbors home at the top of the hill is visible a bit. They are friendly and rarely home, if you dog wanders over just bring them back into yard as soon as you can Enjoy the ultimate peace and quiet!

Monarch Hills Farm Private Dog Trails With Lake View In Holly

Unfenced
59 acres

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. (We are currently expanding and connecting the trails, as well as clearing the views to the lake and river, so watch for some nice additions in the future.)

Leslie's 12 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Ann Arbor

Unfenced
12 acres

Welcome! We are working hard to make our peaceful, quiet 12 acres into a beautiful park. You are welcome at any time, day or night, to walk, run, bike, ski or snowshoe with your dogs. We no longer have any pets-- no more dogs, horses, chickens, or other livestock. We are often visited by deer and groundhogs. Although we have 12 acres, the house and barn are in the middle of it, so you may see the house from many areas during your visit. Usually, we are working inside or we are away and we keep most of the curtains closed. We may use the driveway or receive a delivery. Future plans include clearing the West trails, planting more evergreens, and making an indoor play space in the barn. Our park will continue to improve -- it is a work in progress! We took lots of pictures and will continue to add them. We want you to know as much as possible about the site before you come here for your visit. We welcome your suggestions on how to improve.

Wynshire Woods Dog Trail In Whitmore Lake

Unfenced
49 acres

🌳 🌲 Welcome to Wynshire Woods! 🌲🌳 We feel so blessed to call this property our home, and we’d love for others to experience the beautiful nature we get to enjoy each day. Our 49-acre property is nestled in the woods, 1/4 mile off the road, with parking near our metal barn at the bottom of the driveway. Wynshire Woods has over a mile of trails through the hills and trees, with fallen trees to sniff, hills to climb, ravines to explore, and plenty of nature along the way. There are two trail options: Long Trail: About 1 mile | 40–60 minutes Short Trail: About 1/3–1/2 mile | Around 25 minutes We hope your dog(s) enjoy all the sights, sounds, and smells throughout the woods! We have wild turkey, deer, and plenty of other woodland critters to sniff out and explore. Hopefully they head home tired, satisfied, and happy. 🐾 A NOTE ABOUT LEASHES + OUR FARM ANIMALS: Our property is completely unfenced, and we have horses, goats, barn cats, and free-range chickens near our home and farmyard. Dogs must be leashed or on a long line on the trails near the house and farmyard, as outlined on the trail map. Part of the trail also passes by our fenced goat area where our chickens also free range, so please keep dogs under control through this section. On the long trail, once you are past the house and before you enter the trail leading to the farm area, dogs with reliable off-leash recall are welcome to explore off leash. Please leash them again before heading down the trail that passes the farm area. Please do not allow dogs to enter any of our farm or animal areas. Any dog that chases, injures, or causes significant distress to our animals may result in a fine. OUR DOGS: We have four dogs who are contained by an invisible fence and do not have access to the trails or woods. As long as your dog stays outside of their designated area near our home, there should be no interaction with our dogs while you’re enjoying the property. 🔸🔸🔸🔸🔸 HUNTING SEASON: OCTOBER 1–DECEMBER 31 Wynshire Woods will be closed on weekends from October 1 through December 31 for hunting. Any additional hunting days will also be blocked off and unavailable to book. Because there are neighboring properties where people hunt, all dogs must remain leashed during hunting season, even in the areas where off-leash dogs are normally permitted. We have two orange dog vests that hang in the hay barn/hut near the parking area for you to use while walking. You may want to wear an orange hat or other blaze orange yourself as well. And just to be clear: No one will be hunting on our property on days the trails are open. I just want to be extra cautious since there are neighboring fields and woods where people may be hunting. 😁

Mandee's Private Wooded Dog Park

Unfenced
11 acres

This is privately owned land in Chelsea and will allow you to take your dog for a run in a mowed area with sections of long grass and also for a run through the woods. The wooded area has a significant amount of wetland that the doggies love to get filthy in so bring towels if you expect your dogs to run in the woods. You may see deer and other wild animals on the property. This is an awesome spot to take your pupper out in the wilds for a truly unique dog park experience. My puppers have a blast whenever we bring them out - and so does my 15 year old son. Please be careful on the wooded path as there are a lot of trip hazards in the form of dead trees and logs.

Mel's 15 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Laingsburg

Unfenced
15 acres

Lovely 150 year old decommissioned farm that has been rewilding for 40 years. It has been held as a private wildlife refuge and has been farm and garden chemical free for many years. Trails wind through meadows, woods, and across frozen marsh in the wintertime. Encounter deer, turkey, crane, friendly crows, songbirds, raptors, a wide variety of wildflowers and trees. Also the occasional bunny, fox, coyote, raccoon squirrels and chipmunks pass through. In sheltering spots like my wood chip pile, I have seen snakes and salamanders. In season there are berries and fruit from wild apple and pear trees scattered along the trails. Note that this is a natural area resulting from the rewilding process and not a groomed and open park-like setting. But the trails are wide and mowed regularly for ease of walking. In the woods be prepared to navigate the occasional sticks and branches that may be on the path as typical of a natural woodlot. Wear sturdy walking shoes. This is an exciting place for dogs to sniff around! Looking forward to your visit!

55First time I've had the pleasure of visiting this spot. My dog had a reunion with two of his litter mates, and a very good time was had by all. The property is kept up very well. The fencing was very secure, and the directions were very clear and easy. We booked two hours and couldn't believe how quickly the time flew by. No, doubt we'll be back to visit again. All three dogs had a blast running and playing until they dropped.

The fencing was very secure, and the directions were very clear and easy. We booked two hours and couldn't believe how quickly the time flew by. No, doubt we'll be back to visit again. All three dogs had a blast running and playing until they dropped.

55My boys had a great time here. This is a quiet, clean and secure spot for my reactive weim to just be a dog! Both my dogs waded in the pool (though my Great Dane only fit in two feet at a time 😆) and loved sniffing around. The dog septic tank is a great feature but somewhat hard to see if you’re not sure what you’re looking for and I had to get into some thorny brush to get to it. Not too difficult though. My short haired dogs did get into some brush and came out with burrs by the shed but I came prepared. They were easily removed with my undercoat rake/dematting brush (in the pics) or with a flea/fine tooth comb. I’m not sure how well that works with longer haired dogs but it’s much easier for me than trying to pick them off one by one! I’m looking forward to getting both my boys trained well enough on leash that I can take them back into the trails in the near future. So far I’ve only stayed within the fenced in area. I didn’t see or hear another animal or person the whole time. Very nice spot.

55Excellent spot, exactly as described! We enjoyed off-leash play time in the huge fenced-in area. Gates are secure and easy to operate. If you book the trails, I recommend starting on the east side (Orchard Path) as they are well groomed. We saw deer & wild turkeys! Bugs weren't bad but long pants are recommended to protect from natural vegetation (burrs and brambles). We're already planning a return visit! Our sincere thanks to the host for both sharing the property as well as the excellent communication.

Both my dogs loved it, but it was definitely perfect for my reactive dog as we didn’t hear or see a single dog during any part of our visit. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!

55Very nice large fenced in yard. Fencing was secure enough for my cattle dog who spent a lot of time investigating the fence line. Definitely worth bringing bug spray, the grass is all nicely mowed but if you’re close to the tall vegetation around the edges it can get a bit buggy. I appreciated the chairs in the shade and hose (up against back of the house). There was also a kiddie pool available to fill up if you want. My girl loved sniffing around and running in the grass ❤️

We have a puppy and a 3 year old, the puppy is a new rescue, we’re learning her personality and this neutral ground for them is just what they needed. They were exhausted after 30 minutes! Definitely will be using this location often, my dogs are going to be taking big naps this afternoon.

55A phenomenal safe space for dogs not suitable for more public enrichment activities like hiking/dogparks/public walks etc. My large selectively aggressive rescues had a wonderful time! clean yard, some small sticks perfect for throwing:) the groundhogs do seem to have established a residence under/around the shed so there were several holes around it, that certainly caught my dogs attention several times but holes were too small for my dogs to get through, plus, supervising around it is not difficult! I’ll certainly be coming back and do highly recommend! for reactive triggers we did see a totally handleable snake that we just set outside the fence line, but they live outside, what can ya do. otherwise a completely peaceful visit, no people, no big animals or pets, nothing crazy!

A phenomenal safe space for dogs not suitable for more public enrichment activities like hiking/dogparks/public walks etc.

55Tucker & Mabel had the best time ever! It was amazing to see my dogs act like themselves and confidently play with each other again. Unlike at a dog park with lots of other dogs, my 7 yr old border collie mix was relaxed and confident, explored and ran to his content. The yard was very clean and has plenty of room for dogs to run and really have a good time. We will definitely be back!!

55Such a beautiful, welcoming place. They even have doggie septic tank for poo. Our dogs had a blast, and we will be back.

55This is a really lovely, safe space. The fenced yard is quite large, plenty of room to run. The trails are a nice break! And the host instructions are clear and complete, with a lot of sensitivity toward dogs who might have special requirements or who are sensitive to people/animal presences.
