“I’m Albert! I’m only 7 months, but I’m a big guy at 65 pounds. I’m a gental giant though, I don’t even jump! I don’t like when people approach me and try to pet me, I prefer if they let me come to them and just chat with my mom! I’ll sit next to her and decide when I want to meet you. But once I like you, I decide I’m only 2 pounds and can lay right on top of you no problem!“

“I am a big boy. My mom fostered me and then adopted me. She thought I was a St Bernard Mix, but my Embark should me to be 50% Great Pyrenees & 50% Bull dog. I love humans but when I am on a leash I want to fight all other dogs. I’m sort of a jerk about it. My mom says I am too big for her to manage on a walk so we are going to try sniff spots to get me some exercise.“

“Hi! I'm Albert. I'm 3 years old. I was born in Houston, Texas. I don't remember much about the first year of my life, or how I ended up homeless, but some nice people found me and brought me to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. That's when I met my mom. She was sad because her previous dog of 10 years just passed away of cancer. She came to the Humane Society just to play with some dogs. She wasn't planning on adopting a dog that day, but I could tell she needed me. I flashed her my charming smile, and tilted my head in that cute way that makes humans melt. She decided to take me for a walk. I made sure to give her lots of kisses to cheer her up. It all worked and she took me home that day. I love our home. We have a comfy bed, and cozy couch to watch t.v. together. We even have a small yard with lots of squirrels to chase. I've never caught one, and I'm not sure what I would do if I ever did, but I enjoy the chase. I love to run! My mom likes to take me on off leash adventures, but sometimes I see critters that I want to chase, and that worries my mom. I can't help it, I just get so excited. Mom is taking me to training classes. I'm working on it, but chasing squirrels and prairie dogs is so much fun. I'm sure I will learn, but for now mom says she's going to start taking me to a place called Sniff Spot. She says that I can run and play all I want there and it's safe. She won't worry about me there so we will both have so much fun together. Thank you for making your Sniff Spot available to us. We will both be very respectful of your property.“
