• “My name is Audrey. I am very sweet. But I am also pretty nervous. Lots of things scare me. It is probably because as a very young puppy I ended up at the humane society. And there were so many loud noises, dogs barking, strange people looking at me. It was a lot for me. I really loved when the helpers that came into my space made me feel not so scared. My forever family noticed me when I was only 2 1/2 months old. They brought me home with them. I love to explore the woods, rivers, streams, lakes, ocean, etc. And I love snuggling with my family. But I am not always in the mood to play with other dogs because I had serious surgery on my knee many years ago. I don’t want to hurt it again. I love sleeping on the couches and on the bed with my Mom and sometimes my sister and cousins. Strangers make me nervous. I want to smell them and check them out, but I really would prefer that they not reach out to me.“
