“Am smort. When not snoogling, I like to go on medium length walks and work for treats. Microwave popcorm is my weakness. I never forget someone who treated me. Can put ball in your hand, know many words. When you come home I will find a toy or shoe, greet you with circle wags, and encourage you to chase me.“

“My name is Badger, and I am three years old. My mommy said I have to write about me if I want to find something cool to do but she didn't tell me what or why. I need something cool to do so I will write. I used to have a lot of cool stuff to sniff and pee on and it was all mine and my brother's. I think it used to belong to a bunch of prairie dogs but we chased them away and the ones that wouldn't leave we caught and threw them around. Sometimes we caught bunnies, but they are very fast and hard to catch and you need a nap afterwards. I like to nap in the sun. Some stuff was going on with the other live-in caretakers where we used to live, and it stressed my mommy out a lot and sometimes she didn't feel safe, so I am proud of her for working hard so we can have our own place to live, but I get bored when she is at work a lot. And for some reason the sunshine doesn't come to our porch a lot. Yeah, you read right. Porch. Not field. I sometimes have to remind myself to be grateful. There's a dog run, but there isn't grass, and there's usually more stuff to smell than there is anything else to do. I miss being off leash and running around. Even if I don't catch anything I would like to run around and play fetch or roll in some nice grass.“
