“I’m Buster, I love chicken. I also love napping on the couch listening to lofi jazz. I don’t like when it rains and usually refuse to get my paws wet. I’m not much of a barker unless there’s a squirrel in my yard ):<“

“They call me "The Buster"! I'm a purebred German wirehaired pointer! My first family wasn't nice to me so I came to live with a nice lady who initially fostered me but she knew I was awesome so she officially adopted me two months ago! I have some fearfulness and anxiety. I'm scared of many different things including fireworks, airplanes, sliding doors and bubbles! Yes, bubbles! My new mom doesn't know how I was treated or what I've been through but it wasn't good! Looking for a play buddy who might have similar issues or who can help me through my fearfulness. I have a terrific temperament but I can play hard if given the opportunity. My mom takes me to local live music for socializing and I do great with people! Mom doesn't want to overwhelm me at a normal dog park and have my issues get worse! Might you want to play with me?“
— Candace B.
“Hi I am a mamas boy and very shy with strangers. It takes me about 10 minutes to warm up to you, less if you are a girl. I love food the most of anything. I love my toys and I can’t wait to play off leash. If I bark at you I’m sorry but it’s my way of saying please give me my space. I would never hurt a flea. Oh and I really love other dogs, I have two girls friends that live across the street. That’s right 2! I’m very spoiled by mom and dad and that promised if I’m good at Sadie’s place I can go back every week.“
— Dianna W.
“I’m a great side kick for my mom and love my sisters Bells, but strangers and other dogs I do not think I should be trusted you never know so my mom will be making sure I’m locked up when you come visit“
— Melissa E.

— Suzy G.
“Hello! My name is Buster. I am a mommas boy. I like my dad but not as much as mom. My pawrents rescued me in 2021. I was treated bad by some people before I met my forever pawrents so I have bad separation anxiety. I don’t like when my pawrents have to leave and I cry. I may have destroyed some things as well but we don’t talk about that. I have gotten a lot better! When my pawrents leave the house I’m actually able to take naps now instead of just scratching things and crying. I am missing one of my canine toofs because before my pawrents got me I got an infection in my teef and the vet had to pull it out. It makes me cute and unique tho so I don’t mind. I like to sleep in my pawrents bed and take up as much room as I can. I like to wrestle my brother (I always win). I use to pee in the house a lot when my pawrents first got me but I am the goodest boy now and only go outside. I like to dig in the trash if my pawrents forget to lock it. And if they don’t shut the bathroom door I sneak in and tear up toilet paper. I don’t play fetch like my brother. I like to just catch the ball and then chew on it. I follow my mom EVERYWHERE. If she’s sleeping I will not even let dad take me to potty, mom has to do it. I’m definitely the trouble maker but I know my pawrents love me anyways.“
