“I used to be very social, but since I have gotten old, I have turned into a grumpy old man. You can always win me over with treats, but watch those fingers because my eye sight is not that great anymore. As I have aged I have lost some of manners, and I'm not fond of rambunctious doggos or other males. I love people, but since I'm getting old and my bones hurt, I don't like playing with children under 10 since they tend to play too rough and hang on me. I love tug-of-war, but I mom says I gotta be careful so I don't break a hip 🙄. Swimming has always been the love of my life, but we can't go to the creek anymore since I can't walk that far. So I love places with pools, and it's best if my mom can get in with me, so she can help me out when I'm done. Dementia is starting to set in and my hearing isn't as great as it used to be, so I also need places that are fenced in to visit. (Sometimes I don't hear mom when she calls me, or I just plain forget commands I once knew.) Oppsies. 😬 I know I sound like a handful, but I promise I am a super lovable chunky guy. 😘“

“He's my husky/german shepherd mix that got most of the shepherd gene. He's a little more serious, tuned in, and always concerned how I'm feeling. He's got puppy eyes that tells me he loves me. (Especially around feeding time) lol!“

“Gunny is a German Shephard-Dorberman mix. He is goofy and loves people! When the ball is out, though, nothing else matters. He is the bestest boy.“

“Hi! I’m Gunny. My Dad is retired (32y) Army - Field Artillery. He retired as a Smoke so I am his Gunny. Mom usually calls me Babes. We keep to a routine so at home I’m pretty “chill” until our “sniff” walks! I love to run along the path and get the daily data and leave some too. Mom calls me a depositor, I (almost always, FOR her) drop the dooties in bushes, she is NOT a fan, and tells me eevveerrryy time. I sit patiently while she collects it though. I LOVE to explore and follow my nose especially new places! I take it all in! Full transparency, water is my love language! I love to meet people but I had some mean dogs next door so I am anxious and bark at other dogs until my mom has me sit. I know sit and down by gesture & verbally, but treats make me sit… fast. I am a foodie (bananas = nope) and if I think sharing is possible I will sit patiently and drool like a faucet. I’m always excited to “go bye-bye” and get all the “sniffs” and stretch my legs with lots of free running!“

“He’s a loving boy but it very territorial at home and around mom, he has had interactions with dogs he’s completely fine and happy to be around but is reactive near home. He’s recently neutered so we’re really excited to start to be able to do more with him!“

“My parents adopted/rescued me when I was a pup. My birthday is a October 20 and I’ll be turning 3 human years. I’m a mix between Rhodesian ridgeback and boxer? I love playing with friends. I like to run a lot and I am very curious of anything that moves.“
