• “Gunther was a rescue who came here after Dusty passed away. He had a tough background according to the rescue and we provided him a great place to be a member of a pack. He did make friends with the other 5 dogs and was adjusting to home life. He was also part Coyote, so I think that contributed to his problems with home life as he was not as familiar as one would expect with a 3-4 year old dog. For instance when he came to the house for the first time, he ran right off the top of the stairs into space. Sadly Gunther had habits that imperiled him (Pica) that we couldn't reasonably address. After the 3rd episode of eating inedible solid objects he passed away about a year and a half after coming here. My wife found him at the bottom of the stairs on coming home in the final stage of passing. I hope you found peace little boy.“
