I LOVE to RUN and PLAY!! I get overstimulated and have a hard time listening when that happens. My mom just slows down and we get back on track! I love ALL people, but other dogs can intimidate me. I can run with the pack, but often prefer to watch the fun from a safe distance before deciding to jump in.“

• “Hi I’m Mila. I was from the streets of Miami before I got scooped up by a rescue. There had been many speculations about me, and where I came from, and my story. Unfortunately, I can’t do human talk so I can’t tell you all about my adventures roaming the streets of Little Haiti Miami. I was really hungry, and alone when good people found me. I had about 2 foster homes before my family & I finally found each other. Actually, she was also only supposed to foster me but she failed on the very first day. I heard her say she drove 6 hours to come pick me up. I was a bit wary of her first and I trembled. But in the car, I met my sweetest little baby kitten sister that really put me at ease. Now my life is full of adventures. I hike, I swim, I have travelled across the country and many more. Things I did not even know I could do. I’m still not a fan of other dogs though..I’m just really scared of them, so I try to be tough around them. In fact, it took me 4 years to warm up to the others dogs in the house. But I love family sooo much!!! I have a full set. I have a mom, dad, peachy (my sister cat), grandpaw (who is also my personal cook), grandmaw, Achilles, Apollo, Avalanche, best friend sunshine (my mom sister), and Kuya Poppy (my mom’s older brother). My momma always says I am her heart outside of her heart. I like people but I love children and women the most. I am very protective of my mom, especially against stranger men. Grrrr April 22 2022 is my gotcha day! I don’t really know how old I am but the rescue paper says Iam 6-8 years old and that was back in 2022. Hmm…“
