“Hey guys, I'm Monkey! My people brought me home from a nice shelter almost three years ago. At first I was pretty leash reactive and wouldn't listen much, but then Mahm made me take some class for "growly dogs" and I've learned that sometimes dogs aren't so bad. I do have some doggo friends but they have to be just right to hang with me. My best dog friends are ones that are smaller than me (I am 40lbs and have short little legs), calm and not all up in my face, and who can hang out but also give me my space. I like to play but can be easily overwhelmed if someone comes on too strong. Overall, I prefer a relaxed soul who maybe might play with me after we get to know each other for awhile. If I do get overwhelmed, my instinct is to be dominant and try to mount other dogs. Mahm says that other doggies don't like this but I don't see why not 🤷♀️ Let me know if you think we would be a good match!“
