“Nacho is a Belgian Malinois mix with a big personality and a lot of energy. He is reactive to strangers, children, and other animals, so he is not a dog that can safely interact with unknown people or pets right away. Because of this, I am looking for private spaces where he can run, explore, and decompress without unexpected encounters. That said, once Nacho knows and trusts someone, he is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. He loves spending time with his people and enjoys having space to sniff, play, and be active. He is still working on his confidence and training, so having a secure environment is very important for him. If you have a fully fenced, private space with minimal distractions, Nacho would be very grateful for the opportunity to enjoy it safely.“

“Nacho is a Spanish Galgo, rescued from Spain where they're bred and tortured to hunt rabbits. At the end of hunting season every year, up to 100K dogs are killed/abandoned when no longer needed to hunt. Yet they are gentle, loving, smart, calm, wonderful dogs. As a result, Nacho is afraid of men (most hunters were men), is reactive with other dogs, and can bolt/jump a fence if spooked. But at home, he is the sweetest, goofiest noodle pony.“

“My sweet sweet boy Nacho. He wouldn’t hurt a fly, but boy will he run it down and chase it until the wings fell off. Very submissive, very annoying once comfortable, never bites but growls when aggravated. He’s a sore loser too, if a dog is bigger or faster than him he’ll grumble in frustration. He has a new brother Ranger who tests his limits everyday and we are on the hunt for friends to desensitize Ranger for Nachos sake. Nacho can recall, and stay put to allow for easy greetings. Ranger is a different story. We look forward to zoomies!“
