• “My people adopted me about a month ago (as of June 2026) so we are still getting to know each other. They know I was a stray, then adopted and returned by my last family. I wish I could tell them more. I’m a sweet little pocket pittie with a ton of energy! I love to play, I love treats, and they keep telling me I’m a really smart girl. Since treats are so amazing, I’m taking to something they call positive reinforcement training like a duck to water, and I am really starting to understand the routines of my new home. Out on walks I get overstimulated, and have a hard time keeping my focus on my people. What can I say? There’s just SO MUCH cool stuff out in the world! I love meeting new people! Kids are especially exciting, but I do like them. The sight of other dogs really puts me into a tizzy, and my new people haven’t been able to tell if it’s because I REALLY like them, or because I REALLY don’t. Since I haven’t told them my secrets, I haven’t met any new dog friends up close yet.“
