“Phoenix is a young, energetic Aussie puppy who loves the world. Oh and he loves to dig, but I pinky promise if he tries to dig I will cover it up and fill it back in like it never happened. We are hoping he'll take after his mom and sister and enjoy swimming! We live in a small house with an small, not fenced in yard so sniffspots are our way of safely getting some energy burned.“
— Sila G.
“I’m a future stud dog with lots of energy. I am an atypical whippet and LOVE everyone but moms not confident with my recall“
— Monica P.
“I'm a miniature daschund! I Love play catch me if can! I'm very gentle pup 🐶 I can't wait to meet more doggiemates“
— Lucero M.
“Meet Phoenix 🐾 Phoenix is my 10-year-old American Bully rescue, and she has been my greatest teacher. I rescued her when she was four years old from a backyard breeder, and because of her past, she carries a lot of trauma especially when it comes to her personal space. Phoenix isn't a fan of dogs that are overly excited or pushy. She does give corrections and if the dog is persistent she will move it up a notch.. As she was used as a puppy mill mama. She much prefers calm, respectful dogs that are happy to coexist without feeling the need to interact. She is reactive, and although I'm a dog trainer and we've spent years working together to build her confidence and help her navigate the world more comfortably, her needs have changed with age. Now that she's a senior, my focus isn't on changing who she is, it's on giving her the happiest, most comfortable life possible. With arthritis and ongoing issues affecting her knees and back, our days are centered around advocating for her boundaries, managing her comfort, and letting her enjoy life at her own pace. Phoenix reminds me every day that training isn't about creating the "perfect" dog, it's about understanding the dog in front of you and giving them the support they need to thrive.“

“I am an 8 year old red nose pitty. I was born with a cleft lip and palate. My mom says it just makes me cuter. It doesn't stop me at all. I love to run, and hike, and swim, and wrestle with my sister Gracie. She is my best friend. I am afraid of other dogs, they are scary. So I like places I can swim and run safely without other dogs around.“
— Hannah S.
“I love soccer, ice cream, and speaking my mind. I am shy at first but I open up once I get to know you!“
— Lyndsey B.
“Phoenix is my sweet service dog I rescued in 2021. He loves to hikes with me and make new friends.“
— Jessica D.
“Hi, I’m Phoenix – but my people call me the go boy because I’m always up for a good wander and a sniff. I’m a sweet, soft-hearted guy who loves exploring new places at my own pace. I’m naturally curious (and a bit of a thinker), so I’ll take my time to check everything out before diving in – unless you’re a small, fluffy dog… then I might be your new best friend right away. I’m not one for wild energy or chaos. I prefer calm vibes, gentle greetings, and a space where I can feel safe. I’m pretty cautious around new dogs and people at first, but once I feel comfy, I’m all in – especially if there’s a good patch of sun or a quiet corner for cuddles and naps. At home, I’m all about the ball. Toss it once, and we’re probably playing for the next hour. When I’m not in explorer mode or chasing my favorite toy, you’ll find me snuggled up for a nap. Come visit my spot – it’s my favorite place to sniff, stretch, and just be a dog.“
— Steve G.
“Phoenix was found by a kind man met at the garbage dump and had a ruff life on the ReZ( Reservation). I was lucky enough to get to adopt him. Phoenix is a very loving and gentle boy. He helped me foster several dogs and puppies from the local shelter. He is now Benson's emotional support pal.“
— Lisa P.
“I am a Retired service dog but my mom is a professional dog trainer. I am a black German shepherd that loves all dogs and very respectful.“
— Maeghan A.
“I am Phoenix. I am super shy of all people and especially loud noises. I have worked a lot on training and feel more confident and playful when I am working for some toys or treats. Toys and treats are no longer fun when I can't work for them.“
— Gretta B.
“I’m a goofball and love to play. I get the zoomies and hop like a rabbit when I’m really happy. I’m a Fila Brasileiro, just like my littermate, Samson, but my Ojeriza isn’t as strong. While I probably won’t want you to touch me, I am much more accepting of people and other animals. I’m just so big, I can hurt them on accident.“
— Angel B.
“My name is Phoenix, or Mr P as my mom calls me. I'm about 2 and 1/2 years old and I'm an American Bull Terrier. I like treats and tug of war and I'm exceptionally cute“
— Lexi K.
“Phoenix is an extremely loveable dog. He loves everyone. He did suffer an attack at Jacobson Park before his first year of life. A Pitbull attacked him. We never go socialize at the park any longer. If he sees an altercation with other animals, he comes to me wanting me to carry him. He runs away from barking dogs. I guess, in a way, he suffers from PTSD.“
