  • Im a little shy but once the zoomies start...I love to fetch! I need a lot of exercise.

  • I'm a super cute high energy Schapendoes! Agility and sniff walks are two of my passions next to my family.

  • An older doggo who is big on manners and LOVES people. A littler slower but still smart and engaged, he likes to take his time.

  • Hi -- momma calls me Pucky Dog and I am named after Robin Goodfellow from some play. I am a little bit older now but I still like to go out and play and smell the grass. There is, sadly, no grass where I live. I am a good boy who loves car rides. I am a doggie with a go-bag when Mom and Dad go on some trips.

  • Howdy! I’m Puck a purebred American Shelter dog hailing from SC. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue saved me from a scary shelter and I made my way to a foster home in Woodbridge VA...after a few days and befriending my foster family’s tiny human they decided that I fit in and had found my forever home (yup they foster failed). I love stuffies and unstuffing them, chewing on cardboard, that aforementioned tiny human and wrestling with my Dane “little” sister.

  • I am a sweet boy who loves belly rubs! I enjoy playing and learning new things. I like playing fetch especially the running part… I’m still not great about bringing the toy back with me though. Mom keeps saying we will work on it. I’m not a barker, I announce new people to Mom if I sense someone near and sometimes happy bark to be played with. I jump really high but I’d never run away, I listen to Mom and stay close to her. Mom says I like kids too.

  • Puck is a very good boi and he's fine around other dogs until they run up to him. He does well with slow introductions. He spent some time on the streets of LA so he's protective of his bubble when it comes to other dogs. We can walk past other dogs, get snarled and woofed at behind fences, chill out at the vets office without issue. He absolutely adores all humans and the older dauchsund we live with and wishes he would play with him instead of telling him to get off his lawn 😆 He is eCollar trained and very responsive to his training.

  • Hi there! My name is Puck (I think!) but my mama also calls me “Pucky”, “Puck Roast”, “Puck-a-Roni”, “Puckaroo”, “Puckington Central”, “Mr. Man”, “Stink”, and “Best boy in the whole friggin world to ever live and that ever will!” so, basically, I just do my best not to ever ignore her in case she’s talking to me- and she’s always talking to me- and it works out pretty well! She is a great mom, but she is a funny looking dog! She walks on her back legs ALL THE TIME but even though she has two in the front! I don’t get it! But I also don’t really mind much since she uses her front legs to show me toys, snacks, and once in awhile, myself! She holds up a toy I can’t play with but it must be her favorite because it always with her! It shows me staring back when it’s in front of my nose! Sometimes I’m wearing a funny hat but I don’t feel it on my head, which is confusing, but I don’t worry too much because mom’s happy barking tells me she is having fun! She says “selfie!” before showing me the toy but I still can’t figure out what that command means or if it’s a trick I’m supposed to do… or maybe she has to say that to make the toy work! Whatever! As long as I can go back to rolling in the grass after! That’s one of my favorite things. Grass. Rolling in it, sniffing it, sometimes I even like to eat some of it if my mom lets me but only when we visit the spot on our walk where the grass is tall and no one has ever stepped on it! Speaking of walks, I just love when we go on those! I’ll explore anywhere happily, but if I’m being honest, I really prefer to stick to our routes near our home- that way I can catch up with the local gossip that I’ve missed since the last time I was there. It’s amazing what you find out when you sniff the same tree nearly every day! I always have something to say back, so I make sure I pee before I leave and if I am all out of pee, I try anyway, and the. kick my back feet up which sometimes makes mom loudly bark “Enough!” when she notices the dirt or grass flying all over the place! She tells me “That is someone’s garden! No messing up their pretty flowers!” as if I know what the word pretty means or a garden, even. Trees are ok, and bushes, sometimes I pee on what looks like a tree but is just a pole with no leaves at the top. So I pee a little on them to make sure to let the other dogs who go there know I have made a discovery. After we take our walks, I like to drink for a long time at my favorite water bowl outside that mom only fills up whenever we get home from an adventure out in “the place beyond the fence” which is what I call anywhere that is on the other side of the fence that stretches all the way around our entire yard! At first the fence made me sad because I couldn’t jump over it or dig under it and I don’t know how to open the gate with my front paws like mama does. But now, I don’t mind it much at all, because I have noticed that I can be in the yard all day long by myself with no rules like there are on the walks. We have a big yard, as big as a football field! I can take nap a nap on the patio which stays nice and cool for me to lay on even though the sun is out and making me warm! Or, I can go and chase squirrels into the backyard where we have a lot of trees they live in. There are so many trees in our backyard that even when it too hot to go for a walk in the place beyond the fence, I can walk around without feeling warm at all! My mom says that is called “shade” which doesn’t mean much to me besides that I know that it makes the dirt soft fun to dig in because of the leaves that fall from the tops of those trees or that have branches that touch the ground with little tiny leaves that look almost like grass! It smells just like our house during Christmas time, too! And looks like the small tree that mom brings inside and makes it light up and sparkle! This is not a tree that anyone, even me, can pee on or else I won’t get to rip open any boxes or tear up paper that mama says are “presents” which I know means I have a new toy but that it’s up to me to get it out of all that stuff in order to play with it which actually makes it more fun and is like having two toys because I get to destroy and rip and shake and scratch as much as I want until I see the new stuffy that I will spend the rest of the day chewing on to make squeak or carrying around in my mouth to show everyone which usually leads to at least one throwing it really far when they are done looking and squeaking it after they see what I have and I don’t know if it is because they are jealous they do not have one or because they just play with them different but either way I run after it because I don’t want to lose it and am not ready to pull it’s guts out just yet. Then, I love to eat my dinner before snuggling up with mama on either the couch or on the bed to watch the big black box on the wall make all kinds of weird sounds and that has all these moving things inside of it but they never come out and they go away when mama says it’s bed time. I love bed time! Her bed is HUGE but that’s because she’s a big dog and we lay on it together and also share it with my two brothers who I know are cats, but I don’t think they know, so I don’t tell them or treat them different than I do my dog friends. Soooooo that’s about it! I can’t wait to Sniff some Spots!
