About dogs named Ripley

The following are 30 profiles of dogs named Ripley from our database of 286 dogs with the name Ripley.

  • “Hi! I’m Ripley! 🐾 I’m a happy, high-energy Lab who’s always up for a game of fetch (seriously… I could play all day). I live the apartment life, but I love getting out for short hikes, neighborhood adventures, and visiting my friends at doggy daycare. I’m also working on building my confidence and meeting new dog friends, so I’m looking for fun, positive playdates with pups who enjoy a good game and good vibes. Hope to meet you soon!“

    — Samantha W.

  • “Hi! I'm Ripley, mom named me after Ellen Ripley from the Alien movie franchise. I'm a 4 year old European working line German Shepherd. Most people mistake me for a boy (even when I wear my pink bandana), but I'm really just a fun loving tomboy. I'm very friendly and love high energy friendly pups who like to play tag. I'm a social butterfly and love to make friends, travel and chase my glow ball. I usually get along great with other shepherds, dutchies and malinois, especially the boys. I'm a big flirt. 😉“

    — Sheyane W.

  • “I love to run, play & fetch! I’m a puppy so I’m still learning! I have two brothers without fur who I love dearly!“

    — Destinee W.

  • “I am a 6 month old standard poodle who loves to run and play rough! I listen to corrections well and generally respect dogs space, but sometimes I can be annoying!“

    — Erin V.

  • “Adventurous dog who loves to swim, play fetch, go on long hikes, and play tug.“

    — Hannah L.

  • “Ripley is an Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix rescue from Louisiana. She is sweet, cuddly, and a little shy. She is scentwork trained and titled!“

    — Katherine W.

  • “Hi! I’m Ripley, a 6 year old GSD/Husky/Malamute mix with a big heart and a touch of anxiety. I enjoy RUNNING and playing/training with just my mom or dad. I’m a little standoffish at first and will try and convince you I’m a big tough boy, but a little cheese is all it takes to show how soft I am. High chase/prey drive because I’m built like that.“

    — Marie M.

  • “Ripley lives with Mother in Law but loves to come and play with our crew alot. She is not a fetcher but loves to chase.“

    — Lynn N.

  • “Ripples is a big girl who is very sweet, sensitive and likes to play hard!“

    — Elizabeth C.

  • “LOVES playing with other dogs and playing in water! Will do anything for a treat!“

    — Caitlin D.

  • “I’m a hard worker - maybe even the best goalie in town! I catch every tossed ball, block every goal, and I’ll run for as many miles as I’m allowed. I also love swimming. My little brother, Rudy, is so annoying, but he had it rough growing up before we adopted him, so I give him slack (sometimes).“

    — Kaitlin S.

  • “Ripley here. I’m a street dog from the mean streets of Houston, where my owners found me in a grocery store parking lot. I made them work hard to earn my trust and ate a whole bag of treats before they could get me in the car (suckers). No vet or trainer has ever been able to guess my breed, so I’m pretty unique. I’m pretty attached to my new mom and very protective of her. Sometimes my brother, Rush, is so annoying that I snap at him, but he’s bigger than me and that makes me nervous. Fetch is the best game in the world but I don’t like when my brother tugs with my owners, it’s rude. I’m vocal and love wrestling and playing with other dogs. Sometimes my mom yells at me cause I get too excited and try to mount but I forget she took my balls away. I don’t like loud noises, either.“

    — Mary C.

  • “I’m a 3 year old shepherd mix who loves apples, chasing balls, and learning new things!“

    — Ashley P.

  • “Ripley is friendly and protective. She only has one bark volume -Loud! Her bark can spook some, even when she is being friendly just because of her size and the volume. She likes everyone to be in the same space so she can keep an eye on everyone. She loves to play, and respectfully only eats what she is given (doesn't steal food from tables), and tolerates snuggling.“

    — Melanie G.

  • “Ripley was found as a stray when I was working at the Mesquite shelter. I assumed she had an owner who would be coming to get her, but I put an adoption hold on her anyway, just in case. I came into work every day for 5 days and played with her, wondering how in the WORLD nobody was looking for her. I was so smitten and just over the moon in love with her, and on day 5, she was mine. I brought her home and she proceeded for the next 3 weeks during her decompression period to try and kill all of our other dogs. 😂 She was very angry because we were not her people. She obviously had a family prior, and she missed them. 😢 But after 3 weeks, she settled down, but was stand-offish. After about 3 months, she had totally acclimated and bonded hard with Mike. She had already bonded with me but Mike was obsessed. He thinks Ripley hung the moon and years later, she is just everything to us and we can’t live without her. 🥰🥰🥰 Ripley is a cartoon character that will have your wallet and car keys before you realize the spell she has over you. Her giant eyes are her weapon and nobody can resist them. 😆 She is an absolute doll and loves ALL the attention!! Ripley is the one having issues with Milosh at home so this will be a great opportunity for her to experience something new and do monster zoomies with her sister, as well as take her mind off of her big brother for a bit. 🥰“
