About dogs named Sage

The following are 30 profiles of dogs named Sage from our database of 410 dogs with the name Sage.

  • “I’m a super anxious but energetic dog that needs her own personal getaway every now and then! Other dogs and humans besides my own make me nervous. I still love to run around and play but my mom says our downstairs neighbors don’t like that very much, and I can’t enjoy being outside if I don’t feel secure and safe.“

    — Jenna B.

  • “I can be a little bit rough with people depending on who you are but I mean it in a playful way I'm not aggressive, I haven't been able to play with much other dogs since I'm pretty fragile and missing a leg, some dogs are too aggressive for me“

    — Sam X.

  • “She is a very shy dog, we rescued her from a breeding farm so she is very shy and nervous around other animals sometimes people“

    — Savannah F.

  • “I’m the giant, lovable dog behind my human! I may be a gentle giant, but don’t let my size fool you I’m basically a big ball of love with four paws and a wagging tail! I’m super friendly and I’ve never met a person I didn’t want to say hello to. I love making new friends, getting attention, and receiving plenty of belly rubs. My favorite thing is being around my humans because I’m happiest when I’m included in everything they do. I might take up a lot of space, but I promise I’m only trying to get closer to you. Whether I’m following my human around, cuddling up beside them, or greeting someone with my biggest happiest tail wag, I’m always ready to spread a little love.“

    — Trista C.

  • “Hai!! I love people but I get nervous when I realize people are looking at me >.<“

    — Tilly T.

  • “Medium sized love-bug. The happiest doggy in the world. Endless energy and poor boundaries when it comes to giving smoochies.“

    — Shelby K.

  • “Sage is a 3 month old pup looking to socialize with other dogs! We love to go for walks and explore! Sage is a very friendly German shepherd and very submissive we have socialized with other dogs and are a little nervous on a big dog’s size but after a few minutes we can be best friends.“

    — Morgan F.

  • “I’m a very energetic terrier who can run around for hours! I love exploring and playing with new toys. Up to date on all vaccinations.“

    — Sara S.

  • “Hi my names Sage sometimes I go by missy only when I’m doing what I’m not supposed. I love to cuddle to in bed, on the couch. My parents call me a lazy potato although I do get the occasional Zoomies. I love meeting new friends“

    — Carmen T.

  • “I love anything fetch. Throw the ball, and I’ll make sure I get it! I’m not a fan of the snow, but my sister is; so I guess I’ll survive. What I really love is sun tanning and going swimming! Except because of my dark coat, my parents always interrupt my sun-baking and make me go inside to cool off. I love going to daycare and seeing all my aunties, I mean staff… oh and the dogs too. I have been going to the same daycare since I was 10 months old! The best part is, is I can snuggle with the humans or take a good nap while the other dogs entertain my sister while we’re there. Although my parents say I’m supposed to exercise or something?“

    — Nastassja C.

  • “I am a puppy with a lot of energy! I love people, dogs, and play!“

    — John M.

  • “Sage is a bit overprotective around me and her brother. She’s never aggressive but is very reactive and will bark and seem nasty until she’s properly introduced. This can be uncomfortable out in public and my anxiety increases hers.  She LOVES to run and play fetch all by herself. She’s very high energy and super loving when she gets to know you!“

    — Caitlin L.

  • “Sage loves to run and roll! She is a rescue that was feral for many years and had a least one litter in the wild. She has healed from being hit by car which is how she was brought in as a rescue. Sage is a bit nervous and reactive if other dogs charge at her. She is 45 lbs and a Old English Sheep Dog/Boxer mix according to DNA test.“

    — Carolyn L.

  • “Sage is an extremely sweet and gentle dog with many cute, unique quirks and so very lovable! She especially adores children. She was a rescue off the streets (of North Carolina) and has some signs of past trauma - terrified of storms and loud noises, and although she often does get along with other dogs, she can also at times get anxious & defensive around dogs she doesn’t know that are her size or larger if they get very excitable & jumpy (if they bark at her, jump on her, take her things…) She also gets nervous & stressed with too many dogs in one place (therefore dog parks are out). Besides this occasional behavior, she really is the most peaceful, well-behaved and sweet girl around. Oh, and Sage is a mix of 15 different breeds!“

    — Alyssa B.

  • “Sage is a Golden Retriever mix rescued from a hoarding situation when she was approximately 8 months old. Sage loves exploring outdoors and playing with her sister.“

    — Danielle S.
