“Hi I'm Sherlock!! I'm a goofy chocolate lab and pit bull mix. My pawrents rescued me in March of 2025 and we love to wrestle, play with my toys, take runs (I can run faster than dad!) and of course take snoozes and eat lots of snacks!“
— Alyssa F.
“He’s 1 years old and super friendly. He may bark at adults but once he smells them and sees you’re friendly he’s suddenly your best friend. He LOVES kids and is super gentle (we have a newborn and he’s been extremely gentle and an amazing listener when around him)“
— Katie C.
“I am a mystery! We don't know quite how old I am (1.5yrs?) or what breeds I am (Boxer/Lab?) or why I am so cute and goofy (practice sessions while the human sleeps?). Very sweet and loving, silly and playful and dog reactive. I'm learning a lot and am much better with humans, but I can still be human reactive from a distance (once I sniff I cuddle though).“
— Jack R.
“Hi, in my first year of life I was set on fire, and then the house where I was living caught fire. I ran away. When the rescue group found me I was chained to a tree and had Sarcoptic mange. The family that I am with now found me on a cool Doberman rescue site. They have taken care of me since I was was 1 1/2 years old. They are my 3rd family, they LOVE me, and they helped me learn how to be a dog again after my traumas. I miss my sister Addie who died last year, she was a dachshund, but I loved her anyway!“
— KAREN B.
“Sherlock is a goofy, vocal dog who prefers to be around kids over adults. He's clumsy, but perhaps he's vision-impaired, his mom has a hunch he might be. Adults (stranger ones) give off something - a smell, a vibe - that make him bark, sometimes growl. When adults become friends, they're cool in his book. With kids, he lets them do whatever - scream, yell, jump, run. Because he wants to do the same. He's lazy most of the time, but when he's around other dogs can get excited and want to play - sometimes a bit too eagerly. He's a great guardian, friend, and playmate for his family of two parents, and three human kid brothers. His favorite game with his human kid brothers is hide and seek, and learning new tricks from the dog trick training book.“
