“A kangaroo turned dog, Sokka is super sweet and attentive. He does tend to be more nervous of other people and dogs, but warms up quickly upon getting his sniffs in. Sokka would run up a mountain and back no problem if asked and would love every second of it.“
— Randi B.
“Hey I’m Sokka! I’m a mommas boy. I get along great with other dogs, but my brother doesn’t. I can be a bit awkward when we first meet, that’s just because I’ve seen how scary it is for my brother. I’ve personally never had a bad experience with another pup As a cattle dog/ husky mix I can be rough and loud and pretty hard headed but I just want to please.“
— Ashton F.
“Sokka is a "rescue" rehomed to me at 6 mos. His first family evidently did not know how to raise a puppy as he was not socialized properly at all and reacted to everything and everyone when I got him. We have done a LOT of work together and he and I have a rock solid relationship but I am unfortunately one of only 3 people in the world that get to see that side of him because he reacts so badly to nearly everyone else. We need somewhere to take him to give him the outlet he needs without practicing the behaviors that we are trying to diminish. We need space! He isnso cute but he does not do well with nearly any people until he trusts them and even then is prone to random outbursts that to anyone but me seem unpredictable. He is a smart, well-trained little dude and I am so proud of him 95% of the time, but the other 5% is extremely aggravating. We are trying very hard to give him outlets.“
