About dogs named Sprout

The following are 15 profiles of dogs named Sprout from our database of 53 dogs with the name Sprout.

  • “Loves people and dogs! She’s a bit ditzy but sweet. Great off leash and loves the water! :)“

    — Caitlynn L.

  • “Sprout is a sweet, goofy, curious girl with a big personality who loves to explore, play, and learn! She absolutely loves playing fetch, searching for things, sniffing around, and practicing her tricks. She’s incredibly smart and loves having a job to do. She knows lots of tricks, including spin, roll over, “put ’em up,” and more. She’s always excited to learn something new! She can be a little sensitive and cautious in certain situations, so we really value giving her the freedom to explore at her own pace while encouraging her when she needs a little confidence boost. She’s come such a long way through training, socialization, and lots of positive experiences, and it’s incredibly rewarding to watch her confidence continue to grow. Sprout did begin having seizures at a young age and takes medication to help keep them regulated. Because of this, we’re mindful about giving her opportunities to enjoy herself without becoming overly stressed or overwhelmed.“

    — Maggie S.

  • “I love being outdoors, hiking, floating the river, swimming, I LOVE IT ALL! I am a very good dog who is well trained and my person and I do almost everything together. I am their support dog. I love sniffing around and am looking for some safe places do get my zoomies out. I love all dogs, kids and people!“

    — Glenna H.

  • “Sprout is a little spitfire! She loves to run, play with her friends, and say hello with lots of kisses! She may give a couple of hello barks when she sees strangers but settles down once she’s able to say hello!“

    — Katie J.

  • “Sprouts the name. I am a dog on a very stressful journey with my mom. We had to flee Colorado and move into a very small space. I am 100 pounds in a mix between a golden retriever and a great Pyrenees. I am a reactive dog. I am a very sweet dog, but also very powerful. If I can get my energy out on runs, it is gonna make a world of difference for me and for my mom.“

    — Laurie Y.

  • “Why do you need to know, kid? I'm the grumpy old man of the group. Just here to keep everyone in line. If my sister, Juni, is playing too rough, I tell her to knock it off! But sometimes that can mean I yell at her when she's just playing by herself near me. I don't like meeting new people. I don't trust 'em. I like to have everything the way I want it and I bet they'll just screw it up. I tell em to leave as soon as I see one entering my space. My humans cannot take me a lot of places. They say it's because there are usually OTHER people there. Seems to me like those other people should just take a hike. But since they won't, my humans just take me hiking instead.“

    — Astrid H.

  • “I’m Sprout! I’m a very silly girl that LOVES to play. I’m a little shy but I’ve definitely grown in courage and love to sniff and explore!“

    — Amber W.

  • “My foster mom adopted me and became a foster fail after having me for 423 days. She says I’m a good boy, even though she’s been told I’m socially awkward. I love swimming and chewing balls“

    — Brandi D.

  • “Timid but warms up easily! Loves to play. His favorite toy are boba plushies. Rescue turning 8 in Jan!“

    — Claudia D.

  • “Sprout loves to run, play fetch and is besties with everyone she meets! Her best friends are a Great Dane and a mini poodle.“

    — Gianna S.

  • “Sprout is new VT resident hailing from the streets of Texas! She is a young boisterous girl who is working on her manners and recall. Sniffspots gives us an amazing opportunity to capitalize on these things! Being a rescue Sprout has lot of little quirks to work on and having a secure safe and known place without unknown factors will make life much more manageable for both of us!“

    — Liz P.

  • “Just a tender bean who loves attention and being outdoors! Loves people, all critters (even farm animals!), Kids, hiking, swimming, anything where he can be free and active.“

    — Glenna X.

  • “Hi my name is sprout and I was rescued off the streets of Mexico not too long ago. I am a fairly active pup who enjoys sniffing around new environments, food, tug-of-war and my big sister Liz.“

    — Megan C.

  • “Sprout is an active boy who loves playing. He’s a herding breed, which means he’s also pretty vocal. He loves getting pets, but is an active participant and will try to help you pet him. Sprout has epilepsy and is on medication to manage his condition. He’s a very fun loving guy, but if he gets overly stimulated for a long period of time it can trigger a seizure episode.“

    — Sage M.

  • “Sprout is the sweetest, cutest little mixed breed guy! He lives in an apartment so he needs some extra room to run and play sometimes! He is working on containing his excitement when he sees other dogs which is why we need a private space 🤩“

    — Ryan W.
