“Woof, Hi I am Tikka! I am a rambunctious 16 week old Kooiker. Most people don’t know Kooikers. My breed originated in Netherlands. We were used as swimming Duck Decoy Dogs. As a breed we don’t bark much at all, we are mostly quietly mind our own business. We are moderate shedding, love to swim, medium in size: 20 pounds and are 1.5 feet tall. We are not aggressive at all just very very shy with strangers: people and other dogs. Once we get to know you we are very loving and playful. Being shy is a trait of my breed, I am very friendly once I get to sniff you and get comfortable with you. I am a pure breed registered with the AKC. I am very shy with strangers and new dogs. I love to run, fetch and tug. I am learning to swim and would love to jump in a pool.“

“The goodest girl in the whole wide world! Miss Tikka Marie is a 4 ½ year old gsd. She's a beautiful blanket black and tan with mahogany red markings. Her slope is very small and shes got east german working lines. She's unaltered and has produced one beautiful litter of 4 black and tans, and 2 sables. No more pups expected but she was and is a wonderful mother. She's extremely attentive to me and keeps a close eye on her flock, aka our family. Her primary job is emotional support for me as my father was murdered in Jan 2023. Her secondary is protection work for my daughter. She's almost been kidnapped twice. She's proven incredibly intelligent and dedicated to our family. Again she is the goodest girl in the whole wide world.“

“Tikka was a Kijiji find. Apparently she wasn’t getting along with the other dog in the house. I would think it has more to do with her allergies, as she’s never met another dog she hasn’t liked! She has good recall, but her bestie, Masha, doesn’t so they are looking for a place to play together. Up-to-date on all vaccines!“

“I’ve never had a yard where I could roam free. I’m still getting used to being off my leash and exploring. Most days I’d rather sit on the couch curled up with a blanket but my mom forces me to get some exercise. When I am off leash, I usually just like to sniff around but when I’m really feeling crazy I’ll zoomie around the yard!“

“I am a cute and energetic rescue from overseas. I love to sniff, run, and spend time exploring. I get nervous around other dogs and animals so I prefer to sniff and play alone and away from any furry friends. However, If you are a human I will love you immediately. No questions asked and would love to say hello!“
