“I'm a silly lil 1 year old tripod pup who loves to zoom and sniff all the things! I am very friendly but working on greeting new dogs calmly - lots of puppy energy!“
— Moon S.
“Hi! I’m a really loving girl. But, sometimes other dogs scare me because I’m a rescue. I really just want one friend who is patient and full of energy’“
— Sara P.
“Hi, I’m Twyla. I’m a dachshund, which means I’m basically 80% attitude, 15% snacks, and 5% actual legs. I’m an expert cuddler, professional, and highly trained food detector. I may have a long body, short legs, and absolutely no concept of personal space, but I make up for it with charm. My humans think they rescued me. Adorable. I rescued them.“
— Kayla R.
“I've got a zest for life, and wake up every morning with so much joy that my hind legs leave the ground I'm wagging so hard. The best part is, I can normally find a good sock to steal from my parents to run around with too! I was extremely friendly as a puppy, but that's impacted my reactivity on leash now that I'm getting older, and the world can kinda freak me out.“
— Amanda W.
“Twyla is a fast runner who loves other dogs but is frightened of people so please do not try to pet or talk to her until she gets to know you.“
— Jean A.
“I'm a fur-tunate stray that found a loving home. I had a ruff start, but now I have the ulti-mutt rags to riches story!“
— Jen P.
“Hi my name is Twyla. I was born in North Carolina. My mom was a Blue heeler and my father was a German shepherd/ border collie. My humans rescued me from Save a mutt rescue and had me transported to the Midwest. I grew up on 5 acres chasing deer and squirrels and keeping the coyotes away from our ducks. My humans and I recently moved to Colorado and it’s a big change for me! I just completed a 3 week training program with Pavlov in downtown Denver. I learned how to manage my anxiety around children (they can be unpredictable) and while on leash in new environments and around people and dogs I don’t know. My trainer says I struggle with “stranger danger”. I love frisbee and water as though my life depends on it. I have a 1 year old human brother. I wasn’t sure about him at first but now I don’t know what I’d do without him. I also have two cats that I love dearly.“
— Mariesa A.
“I am a firecracker! I love running around and being chased by my sister. My favorite spots have water I can romp around in.“
— Adrienne Z.
“I am so scared of everything! I love chasing little critters and running around with my humans.“
— Natalia D.
“Just a girl who loves to explore and find a nice spot to catch some sun!“
— Kasara K.
“Hello! I am Tywla! Me and my sister, Piper, are bestfriends! I am 4 months old and love to explore! I am a total sweetheart and love to give kisses! and the occasional nibble!! I’m still a puppy so I haven’t learned everything yet, but I am very intelligent and learn fast!“
— McKenna L.
“Twy is a 6-year-old Maremma sheepdog who loves to be outside protecting her space and sniffing everything there is to sniff. She is fiercely independent but a big suck when she wants attention. She is not dog friendly.“
— Melissa M.
“Did someone say FRISBEE?? I love to run endless laps around my yard and there's no such thing as too much frisbee. Herding my two cats is fun, too! I love, love, love people, but other dogs make me anxious and scared. I didn't get out my first two years of life, so I'm easily overstimulated (which makes it hard to pay attention to my mom, whose attention and praise I want more than anything in the world).“
