“Hello, my name is Wicket! I am a 1 year, 9 month old shitzu pekinese mix. My mom found me in a dirty cage at a flea market and decided to take me home, and I have been a spoiled princess ever since! I may be shy when you first meet me, but if my mom is near I warm up really fast, and once I do you better give me lots of pets because I love them. The same goes with other dogs, just give me a second to warm up then I will want to play. My brother Stuart has helped me gain confidence to venture out and explore, but I still don’t like to get too far from my mom’s side. My mom wanted to try Sniff spot for me so that I could explore more and gain more confidence in unfamiliar surroundings.“
— Victoria S.
“Friendly pup who loves to run and do tricks he loves exploring and most of all sniffing“
— Amelia T.
“I was on the run in Birmingham, Alabama and I got picked up and taken to the Humane Society in March 2026. They neutered me there and started my vaccines. I was transported to PA in May and was in a foster home. I was there a little over a week before I was adopted on May 31, 2026. I showed my new human parents love and affection immediately. I knew they were my people. I love to explore new places. I don't really play with toys or chew, like most dogs. I rarely bark. I'm pretty calm. I'm learning catch with treats and my stuffies. My yard has a very small fence along our hedges that I jumped twice to chase a cat so until my parents get a taller fence for our yard, I have to be on a tie-out. I'm glad my mom found Sniffspot so I can enjoy being untied for a little while outside exploring!“
— Michelle M.
“Wicket is the cutest tiny little male shih tzu. He loves playing and exploring. He’s friendly but a bit weary with new dogs and people. He has never bit anyone but will approach new beings slowly then get playful if he like them.“
— Katelyn D.
“I’m Wicket and love to meet new friends. I’m only 7 months old so sometimes I listen to my mom and sometimes I ignore her. I’d rather play keep away then listen. Unless she has a tasty treat with her.“
