There are no shelters or structures but you may bring your car through the gate and bring any additional items you would like. The only shade is in the evening from trees. To enter pull in at the dark blue house, take a left and drive through the lawn to the gate. You may park anywhere inside or outside of the fenced area, and leave the gate open when you leave.

Upon arrival, you’ll find a designated parking spot and a peaceful trail that winds around the back of the property to the park entrance. Along the way, you’ll pass our duck enclosure and pond—feel free to stop and say hi! If you'd like to feed the ducks, they love shredded lettuce or diced cucumbers (please, no bread). At the end of the trail, you’ll find a double-gated entry with a separate area for leashing and unleashing your dog safely. Inside, your pup will have the freedom to explore about a quarter-acre of fenced-in space, featuring fun enrichment structures like a dog bridge and stacked hay bales for climbing, sniffing, and playing. Hi I'm Erika, I have a Goldendoodle named Polly, our sniffspot is located just 2 blocks from downtown Marshall-exact address provided upon reservation. We have a fenced in front and back yard (which can be separated by closing the side gate if you would rather only use the backyard). Polly will be kept inside and away from windows so you and your baby can have a fun and relaxing time. There is seating with shade on the front porch and seating on the back porch that you're welcome to use. As seen in pics there is also a blue tote next to the stairs in the backyard filled with water for squirt guns (provided), my dog loves to try to catch the water from the squirt guns. Make yourself at home. There is a basket on the patio table of things like hand sanitizer, bug spray, sun screen, Band-Aids (hopefully you don't need them but they're there just to be safe). Help yourself to anything you need. A water dish will also be provided which is washed after every reservation. Puppy pool can also be freshy filled for additional charge.

Although we have 12 acres, the house and barn are in the middle of it, so you may see the house from many areas during your visit. Usually, we are working inside or we are away and we keep most of the curtains closed. We may use the driveway or receive a delivery. Future plans include clearing the West trails, planting more evergreens, and making an indoor play space in the barn. Our park will continue to improve -- it is a work in progress! ***TEMPORARY CLOSURE*** The city is currently tearing up the front yard/sidewalk replacing the gas mains and meters for everyone on the street. We will open up when they have stopped blocking the road and are done replacing our meter. Estimate mid to end of May. Recently added a Ninja Fireside 360 heater on the patio to keep you warm on those cold days. Free to use. Please make sure to turn propane on/off. This fully fenced in yard is the ultimate oasis. Walk your dog on over and relax next to Ford Lake with optional usage of the fire pit, fridge, and tiki torches. We also have two playgrounds for younger children (or children at heart) to enjoy. There's also a scooper, dog poop station, and toys available for you to use. Wifi is available free for guests. Connection information will be sent during your booking. Need to charge your phone or use an outlet? Feel free to plug-in to our outdoor receptacles. Need to run your dog at night? Not a problem! We have exterior lights we can turn on both by the lake and near the house that will give you more than enough light to see. There's also solar lights placed throughout the yard. While we don't specifically have an outdoor restroom, if you need to use the restroom, message us and we can let you inside. Dogs must remain outside while you use the facilities. Stay for an hour or have an evening relaxing by the lake with your pup. Note that if your dog is more reactive around people, we recommend coming during the morning during the week. During the summer you may see neighbors out in their yards doing yard work. We have put the kiddie pool up for the season! While we do our best to keep the yard free of poop and check every other day, you may still find some from either guests or our two dogs. We have nearly an acre of yard and it does make it difficult for us to find them all every time. As far as updates from last summer, we have poured two concrete pads: one for a shed and another as a patio under the pergola. We have also had the black walnut tree by the garage cut back significantly to the property line. While this reduces shade on the garage area, it also should reduce the amount of black walnuts that fall.

There is a water bowl available, yet we're not always available to fill it before you arrive. There is a spigot/hose on the deck. Please be sure to turn it OFF after use--it leaks. Our requests: 1) Street parking only. Please do not park in the driveway. 2) Pick up your dog's 💩. Pooper scooper and small trash can is provided 🚮 3) No digging anywhere, even if it appears to be bare or an available hole. 4) No smoking 🚭 Be sure to walk all the way to the back fence to see our Heritage "Grandmother" Oak Tree that's over 200 years old!
