There is ample parking and a turn around so you do not need to back out onto a busy road. There are trash bins for poop bags, a water faucet on the outside of the house and a green crock for a water bowl. I try to have a chair or two available as well. There is shade in the morning but it is full sun in the afternoon. It is also a very breezy location because we are so close to Georgian Bay. Pls be thoughtful when you leave a review. This is not some big money making business. We offer our property to support dog families who need a safe space for activity. When we get negative reviews because someone is “too hot” or “it rained” it makes us question what we are doing and why. It is a lot of work to maintain this space. We really do hope you enjoy.

Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. The trails are wide enough to drive a truck around back there, with the main loop being 1.5 km long. The rest of the trails connect one end of the loop to the other at various points. Total amount of trails is 2.87 kms. I have been open for over a year now but I am still making improvements when I get the time between work and family obligations. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do. *SPRING UPDATE* (Mid March-April- early May) The entrance gate to the Sniffspot in the spring does get muddy and with the saturated soil does hold standing water at times. Please do not park in the standing water. Also the gate area in early spring does flood and you will need rubber boots to cross this portion to access the fenced area. Check local weather conditions the day before and the day of your reservation for rain. If it was dry for days then the water usually drains away. Parking is still on my driveway until the snow melts completely. *WINTER CHANGES* (November -April) (-No water available over winter months -Gap under gate for snow clearance -Used dog bags go in green bin beside shop -Parking on driveway once deep snow arrives, dirt road will be blocked with pylons)

Welcome to Beaverton's Dog Trails! Please access the trails from Concession 6. Punch these coordinates into Google Maps: 44.4415942, -79.1065234. There is a SniffSpot Sign at the entrance. You may park in the private driveway. At times the river will be high, and you may only be able to cross the river on the white trail as there is a bridge. Please be advised that you are in bear territory. Carry the bear spray provided if it makes you more comfortable. Please pick up after your dog, there is a waste bin at the entrance. Please help yourself to a laminated map at the entrance and return after your walk. The map is posted throughout the trails with "you are here" symbols to help you navigate the trails. There is also bug spray in the cabinet at the trail entrance. If trails are blocked off with caution tape, they are temporarily closed. Enjoy your visit! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE CHECK YOURSELF AND YOUR PUPS BEFORE YOU LEAVE. THEY’RE DISGUSTING AND CAN BE HAZARDOUS My place is nearly 200+ acres and can be tricky to find. It’s the 1st house on your left east of the 400 or 1st house on your right west of Jane. When u turn in the drive way follow it to the left and then slight right, you’ll see the house. U can park beside the barn and have an awesome walk, sniff all the things. Bring rain boots or shoes u don’t love lol It can get mucky on the trails at times. Also, there may be farmers out there so if your dog is reactive, maybe come on a weekend. I use the term “trails” loosely as yes, there are trails but there’s also a lot of forested areas. Feel free to venture in there but bring the “EAU DE BUG SPRAY”. The skeeters are nasty out here. I also LOVE seeing the pics of the pups having a roll in the dirt or just living their best life. Bring on the photoshoot!
