55A little confusing to find (you go through 3 gates), but once there, my dog and I loved it. You definitely need mud boots or shoes you don't mind getting muddy in the spring or rainy season. Even though my dog is not a swimmer, she loved playing in the shallow parts of the creek, plus there is a lot more to explore other than the creek. We could hear, but not see, the horses next door, and my reactive dog did not notice. She is also an escape artist who never got outside the fence. (She is a work in progress, lol.) I will definitely be back.Dawn L.

55Fantastic property. Our lab ran and swam and fetched for the entire hour. It is difficult to tire her out, but we managed to do it in this large property.
The host is also very nice and accommodating. We will be back.Mike H.

55Plenty of fully fenced room to roam. Beautiful down by the stream. The lower area with the stream has a fence that separates that area from the upper area where the chicken coop is. I really appreciate this since one of mine is obsessed with chickens. The stream is great if your dogs like water. Nice covered area, radio with a note to play the music you like and all the necessities like a bucket of balls. Wear boots this time of year. There were boards placed where it would get mushy, but with the weather right now it’s in good shape. We could see the horses in the distance. Tina G.

55What a fun spot for a dog who loves the water! We arrived late due to poor weather but he still had a blast and tired himself out running circles snd jumping in the creek. I felt so bad when it was time to go because he was having so much fun but luckily we were able to extend our visit on the app. We’ll definitely be back! Elizabeth M.

55Great spot! There’s a range of terrain and lots of places to sniff and hide which was fun for them for exploring. There’s definitely some muddy spots this time of year, so I second Todd’s recommendation for having a sturdy set of water proof/resistant boots. There’s lots of toys and a poo bin and some extra touches. Todd really does his best to make it comfortable for his guests 😊Olga P.

55Just the perfect spot for my old German shepherd to feel like a pup again. It was our first visit and Todd greeted us to give us the lay of the land and make sure we found the parking area. It was a great experience. The photos very accurately reflect the property attributes.Tara K.

Frequently asked questions about Bellevue dog beaches
Why are private dog beaches better than public dog parks in Bellevue?
Private dog beaches in Bellevue eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Bellevue's 11 private dog beaches offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.
How safe are Bellevue dog beaches compared to public dog parks?
Bellevue dog beaches are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Bellevue dog beaches eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.
Are Bellevue dog beaches safe for reactive dogs?
Bellevue owners of reactive dogs choose dog beaches because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy swimming and beach activities while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Bellevue reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.
Can anxious dogs safely use Bellevue dog beaches?
Yes! Bellevue dog beaches provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a waterfront area where dogs can swim, play in sand, and enjoy beach activities off-leash at their own pace without stress. Many Bellevue dog beaches offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.
Are Bellevue dog beaches good for small dogs?
Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Bellevue dog beaches because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Bellevue avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog beaches eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.
Do Bellevue dog beaches work for senior dogs?
Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Bellevue dog beaches because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Bellevue dog beaches with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.
What do Bellevue dog owners say about dog beaches?
Reviews of Bellevue dog beaches consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Ashley's 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Duvall is particularly praised in Bellevue. Read reviews to see real experiences from Bellevue dog owners with similar needs.
How clean and maintained are Bellevue dog beaches?
Bellevue hosts maintain their own dog beaches and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Bellevue hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Bellevue dog beach listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
