Slys Peace Trail

Partially Fenced
10 acres

Located in the foothills, the Slys Peace trail was created for dog stimulation. The trail starts at the lower end of the pasture and follows the creek meandering through a rhododendron forest. Situated at the base of 100 acres of wooded ridge land, the hike offers a wilderness experience customized to your comfort zone. There are multiple trails to accommodate your level of exercise. The full experience will require crossing the creek multiple times and is recommended for those with hiking experience. Trails are easy to follow with multiple exits that lead out to the pasture. This is dog heaven. Let your dog be a dog. To locate the gate entrance watch for the Giant metal horse. His nose points the way. Follow the fenceline a few hundred feet where you will find the gate just before the power line easement. There is now a large Sniff Spot sign securely attached.

Frequently asked questions about Boomer dog water parks

What do private dog water parks in Boomer offer that public parks don't?

Private dog water parks in Boomer offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for swimming and water play, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Boomer can't guarantee any of this. With 12 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Boomer?

Yes! Most of Boomer's 12 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Boomer listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog water parks in Boomer?

Puppies can visit Boomer dog water parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore swimming and water play without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Boomer trainers specifically use dog water parks for puppy development.

How do I find private dog water parks near me in Boomer?

Browse Boomer's 12 dog water parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Boomer listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite 50 acres off leash private trails for rent! is particularly popular among Boomer dog owners.

Can I rent dog water parks in Boomer by the hour?

Yes! All 12 dog water parks in Boomer are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Boomer dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog water parks and public dog parks in Boomer?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Boomer mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 12 Boomer dog water parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys swimming and water play and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog water parks in Boomer?

Yes! Boomer has climate-controlled indoor dog water parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Boomer locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Boomer weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Boomer dog water parks help with dog training?

Boomer trainers love dog water parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice water confidence building, dock diving practice, or swimming-based fitness training, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for swimming and water play.
