Welcome to our fully fenced-in backyard! We're happy to let your dog run, jump, play, and explore our grassy area. We have a few pine trees and a (dormant during the winter) little veggie garden. Make sure to latch the gate to stay securely inside while off-leash.

Welcome to our backyard! We know how valuable new experiences are for dogs and how being off leash to run, sniff, and play is good for dogs' physical and mental well being - and ours, too! Our privacy fencing and large yard allows you and your dog to have a safe place away from unfamiliar people / other dogs*. It's great for getting your dog some different sniffs and letting them off leash for a game of fetch! *Our neighbor does have a dog who may be outside during your visit. The neighbor's dog is friendly and absolutely cannot get into our yard. Your dog will be 100% safe, but please know that if the neighbor's dog is outside during your visit, she may try to stick a little bit of her snout underneath any of the small openings along the fence line.

A fully fenced yard for you and your animals to run and roam! The Hawthorne has almost an acre of land for your doggo to explore! Because of the heavy precipitation recently, there is a decent size puddle in the low ground of the yard and the grass surrounding it saturated. Feel free to use the hose to rinse your pup off if they play in the water. We are fully fenced in so y’all can run without worry! We have a hose and bowl outside for you to use for water. We have a large open area to play ball or frisbee and a meadow / English garden type area on the sides of the yard that provide fun terrain for your dogs to explore. The dogs are welcome to roam whenever they’d like, but please be mindful of what they eat since we have a native pollinator garden. The yard is enclosed by a combination of a 6’ privacy fence, as well as a chain link fence that abuts the neighbors backyard (no dogs), and a white picket fence reinforced with chicken wire on one side. The shorter fence is on an embankment so it’s almost equivalent to our 6’ fence that surrounds most of the yard. We mow regularly. There is always ample, safe street parking directly in front of the Hawthorne Hotel, as well as on the side street where there is a convenient gate that leads directly to the back yard. The best spot is right outside the gate. Please be mindful of closing the gate behind you when you enter and exit as it requires a firm tug to latch. We have a fully fenced in yard (4 feet tall) with multiple elevations to explore near Forestdale Cemetery. We want to share our yard with all dogs, but especially the ones that need a quiet space to enjoy just being a dog outside (especially if the dog park can be too intense). We had a reactive dog, and know how hard that can be. The yard is on a quiet dead end suburban road with plenty of free street parking. Entrance to the yard is up a few steps to the right of the house and driveway and features a Sniffspot sign near the gate door (see pictures). We do have a dog, Nova, who will be kept inside at all times. We love our yard, and hope you can enjoy it, too!

Quarter acre of grass, fully fenced. Kiddie pool just for dogs! While my fence is intact, I would advise caution for tiny breed escape artists who can potentially squeeze through small gaps. This has not been an issue in my experience with friends’ small dogs though.

2 acres of short grass. lovely stream past the chicken coop in the back. access to a private woods trail (on our property) that leads to miles of power line trails (rarely see anyone out there). The entrance to the trail is directly behind our fishing boat in the back.

My spot is usually always kept clean and neat besides the digging holes from my 2 dogs. Have lunch or dinner while you watch your dog playing and running at the dining table outdoors. Swimming pool available during season, feel free to cool off as well as your pup. Plenty of chairs to sit and relax and a sand box for the dogs. My dogs love sitting and digging in it. Water hose is always on so feel free to give your dog fresh water. Doggie bags are available to dispose of your dogs waste as well as a barrel. Enjoy, relax or run around with your furry friend. Outhouse is available as well.

Enjoy our secluded dog haven! Located just minutes from downtown Nashua, at our Sniffspot you’ll never know you’re in the city. Play a game of fetch on our large, fully fenced grassy lawn. In the summer, try out our kiddie pool add on to cool off! Sick of fetch? Strap on a leash and enjoy our short path through the woods (where you might catch a glimpse of our curious chickens or even a giant bullfrog in our creek)! If you have a digger feel free to dig in the woods or in the dirt area under the deck. - Do not allow dogs to get too close to the chickens. Huge fenced in yard with private access to hiking trails in Ames Nowell abutting Cleveland pond. Spend time off leash in our yard before heading into the park. We do have a detention pond that will need to be off limits for your dog(s) but if needed, we have sprinkler / hose if they accidentally go into it. We kindly ask that you pick up after your dog.

Join us for ~1/4 acre of fenced in fun! The yard is level and easy to run around in or just relax and enjoy. We have 6' privacy fence and a nice shady area under the trees :) We have one dog of our own who will be inside during your stay. You may see people out front or inside the house but the backyard is yours to enjoy. We will give you space with your pup. This spot in a neighborhood setting. Be aware this means people and dogs could be walking around. I do not have control of what people and dogs are in the neighborhood outside of my fenced in spot. The fenced in area is down a long driveway and away from the sidewalk.

We have just over an acre of land down a dead-end road. Our backyard is fully fenced in with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. There is plenty of seating for the dog parents as well as a play ground of you want to bring your children! We have two dogs that I would keep inside during any visits. We have dog toys in the back yard that's your dogs could play with. There is plenty of room to throw a ball around and really let your dogs expend their energy. My wife (Ashley), son (Oliver), and I (Joe) love dogs of all breeds and would love the opportunity to give them room to run and play like our dogs do. Our back yard is pretty open with grassy spots, mossy areas, and sand and dirt. I'd gladly share the wi-fi with any guests and will accommodate any needs within reason. Any questions let me know! Also, please do not allow your dog to dig and please clean up after your dog. I have two dogs of my own and clean up their poop daily. Quiet cul de sac, please park in front of house or driveway, dog friendly neighborhood

The yard is completely fenced in. There is a huge clearing for ball throwing and running, as well as woods further back for adventures. This yard has everything a dog could want. People find it pretty awesome too!!! Update: hose water is turned off for the winter otherwise the pipes freeze. It will be turned back on in spring!

This quarter-acre, fully-fenced yard offers a large, quiet, safe spot for dogs of all sizes. There is a long stretch of yard perfect for fetch, mulch for digging, trees to chase critters up. Patio for the humans. I am a dog owner and sitter so I have a lot of extra dog items on hand. I have had special needs dogs so I am sympathetic to dogs and owners with specific needs.

Come sniff around right next to private Barkers Pond. Sit on the dock and enjoy the view. Lots of wild life to enjoy (ducks, heron, beavers late in the day). Please park all the way to the left in the driveway (closest to trash barrels). Please be sure to pick up after your dog while here, thank you!

Update 6/12/23: While I love the tree by the mailbox, I recognize it makes backing out of my driveway very difficult. Feel free to back into the drive so that your line of sight isn't blocked when trying to leave. Update 4/11/23: There are times that I block off my yard for the whole day to ensure that I don't have back-to-back visits and that there is time for the dogs I am dog sitting to run around. I don't need all this time so feel free to message me if you would like to visit on that particular day and I can unblock a slot for you to book. General Information I have a large fenced in yard. It is chain link and 6ft tall. It is reinforced at the bottom. There is a woodsy area in the yard for dogs to explore as well. Lots of room to run! You may notice your dog spends most of his/her time sniffing around instead of running. This is typical for the first visit: 1. It is a new space for them and they get a lot of information through their nose 2. Lots of dogs have been in my yard so there is so much to smell. This is still great enrichment and will lead to a tired and fulfilled dog. Please bring your own dog toys, water, and water bowl. If your dog poops (even if in the woods), can you please pick it up? I have a dog that likes to eat poop - so gross! You may notice that sometimes my deck is gated off. I do this so that the visiting dogs aren't distracted by the sliding door, standing in front of it thinking they are there to come into the house instead of playing in the yard. You are more than welcome to take one of them down if you want to sit up on the deck. If I forget to put the gate up and you want to block your dog from coming up on the deck, feel free to put it on the stairs to block the entryway. Other things worth mentioning: - My neighbor to the right of me has ducks. They are typically quiet but visible. - Depending on the weather and time of the year, parts of the yard may be icy and/or muddy! Bring towels to wipe down your dog afterwards. If you visit early spring, you may see ground bees flying around on the south facing side of the house. By late April, you won't even know they are there. They are very docile (in fact most species don't have stingers) and are great pollinators. - I also dog sit out of my home. Some dogs that I watch are vocal and may bark the whole time you are visiting. If your booking time is during a time that I am home, I can ensure that they are kept quiet and don’t interfere with your visit. Large wide open fenced in back yard great for any size dogs to run around in. We can provide toys (frisbees, tennis balls, footballs) if you'd like.
