Pooch’s Paradise in Jenison - Kaitlyn’s Dog Training

Welcome to Pooch’s Paradise! I’m Kaitlyn, a professional dog trainer who owns Kaitlyn’s Dog Training. My dogs are basically my children, and the entire yard has been catered to them and my clients’ dogs. This half-acre yard is fully fenced (6 foot privacy, plus a 4-ft chain link surrounding a garden area), and even has a double-gate system to enter and exit, like you would see at a dog park to add extra safety. There are tons of enrichment activities available. I always have a wide variety of toys, a children’s climbing playset that the dogs love, and in decent weather I also have a ball pit, a kiddie pool, small agility tunnels, and have plans to add additional agility equipment at some point in the future. Additionally, we now have a 10 foot x 10 foot canopy over the seating area to provide additional shade. There is also a green tent, in which guests can always find dry towels for wiping down dogs, as well as dry cushions for the chairs and even a Mudbuster tool for cleaning off paws. We do everything we can to provide the absolute best experience for you and your dog, and we think you’ll love it! The only dogs I have ever allowed on the property are vaccinated, healthy, and up-to-date on flea & tick prevention. All the pups who visit my home find that the yard is quite literally their own personal playground, and I know your dogs will love it too!

Our dog loved the big back yard! She chased tennis balls until she dropped. Thank you for providing a great yard for us to play in.

Huge yard and strong sturdy fencing all the way around. There's a little lake across from the backyard that was partly visible and had a bunch of geese. It was fabulous for our shepherd to run around and play fetch.

This place is seriously cool! Pros: - The indoor space is WONDERFUL. Secure, lots of toys, big enough to play but not so huge you lose your dog. There's even a swing, couch, and little rock wall for the people! - The dog treadmill is worth the upgrade if your dog likes it. My fearless one hopped up with very little hesitation and was sprinting on it within the hour. My shy one would put her paws up on it for a treat, but I didn't push her to try it before she's ready. - I didn't use the bath but it looked like a great set up - Friendly owners Cons: - Other dogs were out of sight but unfortunately did bark much of the time we were there. I believe they may have been visiting dogs, so it might just be a gamble! It prevented us from using the outside space as much but there was so much to do inside that it didn't bother me too much. I have tried a few sniffspots and most have been a good experience, but this is the first one my dogs didn't want to leave after an hour! We will likely be back. Thank you!

Great place. Will definitely go back. Perfect size for dog just learning to be off leash. Plenty of room to run, but not so much that you need to worry about them getting too far away. Was a hot day, so our pup especially enjoyed the splash pad and kiddie pool and I enjoyed having plenty of shady areas to get out of the sun.

Very fun spot. My beagle loved to sniff and run free. He liked to go through the woods and check everything out. Awesome that there are towels, hand sanitizer and poop scoops available. Many many amenities. We enjoyed our time and I felt very secure the whole time.

Best entry way to get organized with the dogs before entering the yard. My dogs love the huge yard and the far back woods/trail area that has an area to sit while they sniff around. Dogs are definitely tired out at the end of their play time. Plenty of places to sit and relax throughout the yard and several places for dogs to get a drink. Yard is clean, well-kept, and the fencing around the property keeps my dogs contained without issue. Would recommend to anyone!

This dog park never stops! You get every terrain experience in one spot- clear landings for full speed sprints, hills for some major exercise and wooded trails with plenty of wandering opportunities. Anything your pooch would need or want! We will make this a routine outing. Just so grateful to the host(s) for sharing their unique, ginormous lot of land with others!

We had a lovely time here! It was so fun to have enough room that our dogs could really run full-speed. We walked a few loops around the property, which seemed more like a hike than a bank yard hang out. Our dogs thought the steep slope in the back was really fun, and the wooded section is so serene and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous *huge* fenced-in property. Even after 1 hour, my dogs were still finding new things to sniff. We’ve been to quite a few SniffSpots near GR and this one is definitely one of the best. Will definitely be back:)

Our Bernese Mountain Dog had his first birthday party at Canada Corners with all his litter mates. Emma was an amazing host! The spot is fully & securely fenced, and clean with lots of room for multiple big dogs to run & play. There’s tons of toys, plenty of fresh water, a splash pad and a dog pool! Big tress provide good shade and the country setting is beautiful. Highly recommend Canada Corners!

Jasper enjoyed the nice yard. It had shady and sunny spots, as well as a nice deck. Even with the swing set, there was plenty of room. The hostess Jenna was very nice.

This was our first Sniffspot booking. Boss Bodhi had a nice time. This is better suited to medium and small dogs as just a bit smaller than we expected and the 4 foot fence could be easily jumped by my athlete (that was my overlook) We met Jenna and she was super nice. I will be booking in the future at spots with higher fences for my boys needs. Thanks for letting us visit ❤️🐾

Our 2 dogs had a great time in this yard! They loved running free, smelled all the new smells, and drank lots of the water that was left for them on the deck. They even found a tennis ball to play with. We will definitely visit again another day.

Adorable back yard and the perfect size, I was able to let my dog run and roam while watching comfortably from the deck. The hosts had a water bowl set up for us as well. It was our first time trying Sniff Spot and a great experience!

FAQ about our Cedar Springs fully fenced dog parks

Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.

Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.
