In the summer, the wire fence around the garden in the front field is electric to keep out deer, won’t hurt your pup but will definitely give them a startling zip if they touch it. If we are home we will sometimes be out on our deck, mostly in the summer, but our house is up on the hill and with 8 acres to explore and the creek running through the center of our property, it’s easy to still have your privacy.

The fence gate has a carabiner on the inside that ensures the gate stays latched. You can easily reach your hand through to remove. Gate is very heavy but will open easily about 2 feet for entry without having to lift the gate to get it wider. Please replace carabiner when leaving.
