Lil Campbell River Farms Private Dog Park and Forest In South Surrey

1 Acre fully fenced grassy area Dog Park with covered seating area to enjoy your coffee. No sprays or pesticides used on grass. Long stretch for ball launching and getting out the zoomies. Another 12 acres of walking over a bridge of the Lil Campbell River into an incredibly lush forest. The forest is not all fenced. Once over the bridge, it is the dog owner discretion of whether your dog is off leash or leashed. It is a private forest so it is rare to see other dogs and people, but wildlife is always a possibility. Please keep your dog on a leash from the parking area to the dog park area and also from the dog park to bridge for a walk through the trails in the forest.

There’s plenty of room to sniff, roam, and play, whether your pup loves open space or shaded paths. Because the space is unfenced, it’s best for dogs with reliable recall or those kept on a long leash. Please clean up after your dog and help keep the meadow and woods beautiful for everyone. As this is raw land, you may prefer to wear closed-toe shoes, especially as we enter the rainy season.

Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

During this time, all bookings will take place at Sniffspot Field 2, our private fenced play area with river access and plenty of space for dogs to run and explore. When you arrive, please follow the posted Sniffspot signs directing you to Field 2. As always, every booking is completely private, giving you and your dogs exclusive use of the area during your reserved time. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out anytime. Lake Cavanaugh K9 Ranch

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Hi, we have a couple different spots for your furry friend to play and get some energy out! The first spot is right by the entrance to the property and is a fully fenced like 1 acre. Add this word you’re more likely to be able to hear and possibly even see another dog. But still private and comfortable and very easy to get to  The next spot is out in the back it’s about 20 acres is partially fenced with two horses roaming around The last one is past that area to the forest line and is a private trail that cuts through to the very back where it touches meets up with three other properties and opens up into about a two acre stretch of field with the culvert in the middle and a stream running through most of the time But it is also just partially fenced the trailer. There’s just blackberry bushes and trees on either side, but the trail itself maintained should be mostly clear. Of any branches and or bushes sticking out and impeding your walk where you can even ride your mountain bike if your dog prefers to run along side of you. If you are interested in visiting here, please message and if it works out I’ll be happy to accommodate you. 07/01/22- Important: The Sniffspot platform does not allow hosts the option to approve or cancel reservations, as such I have blocked my calendar to more easily control reservations. I often don’t know until last minute when the forest manager I’m working with for the DNR forest cleanup project is on-site, the logging will take place hopefully this winter. — This 21-acre forest with a large beaver pond is classified as a class-A wetland. In addition to this, you can find a shallow creek, beaver dams, old-growth forest, and phenomenal bird habitat. Find privacy and quiet with the exception of the songs of many birds and woodpeckers. This property was once a show home, but a fire took place over 10 years ago and the house was not rebuilt. While the ruins that remain are minimal, it sets an interesting backdrop; perhaps it can be the scene for a mysterious photoshoot. Within the property is a small orchard, we do ask to try to not let the pups do their business there. Spring 2022 Update: One picnic table have been added to the property.
