Great for someone with a dog that loves water. Steps to access the creek. Due to changes in water level the beach area can be larger or smaller. Guests welcome to be on any part of the acre of creekfront. It is overgrown. We sometimes weed wack but the woods have no clear paths although your welcome to wander anywhere.

While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. This is important to consider for dogs who may be reactive. This is a self-service experience, as staff are not typically onsite during weekend rentals. Mostly flat terrain for easier walking. Some trails are rocky, some have alot of protruding roots, ground is uneven in areas. Vinegar and salt mixture used for a weed killer on some of the trails. You're very likely to see squirrels and deer. Occasional dog barking in the background. Sometimes neighbors mowing/ kids playing. Pretty private, but not completely isolated. You might see a car driving past. Clearing will be squishy and back trails will be muddy after it rains. Not necessary to bring poop bags, just relocate it if it ends up where you walk.
