Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Surrey **Update please read description**

Partially Fenced
40 acres

📢 Temporary Update – New Play Area & Adjusted Pricing Hi everyone — quick update! Due to unexpected renovations and ongoing landscaping/drainage work, our main large field and forest area is temporarily closed while improvements are completed. We are still open, and visits will now take place in our **new private play area**, which includes a fenced field, river access, a bit of forest, and multiple spots to relax and lounge. Parking remains the same. I’ve also added a simple map showing the current play area, walking path, and the temporarily closed main field. Because this is a different setup than what was originally offered, pricing has been adjusted accordingly. All existing bookings made at the original rate will receive a partial refund (or a discount for a future visit). We’re taking things week-by-week while work is underway and appreciate everyone’s patience while we get the full property back to top shape. If you have any questions or would prefer to reschedule or cancel, feel free to message me anytime. Thank you for your understanding and continued support! – Shayne IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD

Kimberly's Partially Fenced acreage In Abbotsford

Partially Fenced
86 acres

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Give your dog wide open space to run and play here on a large acreage right in town. Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

10+ Acres of Wooded Trails on Private Dog Park In Mt. Vernon

Partially Fenced
12 acres

Our property requires a walk up a hill to access the Sniffspot once you have parked. Once you reach the top you have just over 10 acres to explore on old forest roads and trails. We have very thick brush on the south, west and north sides of the property and the east side is fenced in. We live about 5 miles from I5 with an upper property behind our home full of old forest roads, some trails, trees, and plenty of room to roam around off-leash or on. There is a lot of wildlife around the area and that lives and sleeps in our property to lots to sniff but be aware for off leash recall if a bunny or deer passes by.

Lake Cavanaugh K9 Ranch

Unfenced
22 acres

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Emily's Private Dog Park In Sedro Woolley

Unfenced
5 acres

Enjoy this completely private dog park on over 5 acres of property on the beautiful Bacus Hill. To get here, follow google maps most of the way. When you see the mailboxes on the left (a little before where maps takes you), you'll also see an area where you can pull off and park. There is a maintained path that leads straight down to a bridge, once you are across the bridge, the entire open area is available for you and your dog to roam and explore. On the walk down, you will be able to see our house and our fenced yard with our dogs, but once you cross the bridge it will be private. A few warnings/disclaimers: 1. There is wildlife (bears, cougars, etc.) in the area. Use at your own risk. 2. The bridge has some (fairly obvious) broken/soft spots on the west side. Watch your step! 3. Beyond the open area to the east and south begins to get into other neighbor's property. It is not the end of the world if your dog goes there for a bit, but please try to keep them mostly in the open area. 4. Watch out for occasional dog poop. We let our dogs poop on walks and every now and then it happens to be on the path. Generally clear, but good to keep an eye out.

Frequently asked questions about Delta dog hiking trails

What do private dog hiking trails in Delta offer that public parks don't?

Private dog hiking trails in Delta offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for natural exploration and varied terrain, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Delta can't guarantee any of this. With 12 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Delta?

Yes! Most of Delta's 12 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Delta listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog hiking trails in Delta?

Puppies can visit Delta dog hiking trails as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore natural exploration and varied terrain without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Delta trainers specifically use dog hiking trails for puppy development.

How do I find private dog hiking trails near me in Delta?

Browse Delta's 12 dog hiking trails on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Delta listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Peaceful mini-retreat with field & woods is particularly popular among Delta dog owners.

Can I rent dog hiking trails in Delta by the hour?

Yes! All 12 dog hiking trails in Delta are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Delta dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog hiking trails and public dog parks in Delta?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Delta mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 12 Delta dog hiking trails give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys natural exploration and varied terrain and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog hiking trails in Delta?

Yes! Delta has climate-controlled indoor dog hiking trails perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Delta locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Delta weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Delta dog hiking trails help with dog training?

Delta trainers love dog hiking trails because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for natural exploration and varied terrain.
