Enjoy our Fully Fenced Private Backyard Oasis In Crozet

Hello! My name is Katie and we are so excited to offer our yard space to your furry best friend. My family has lived in an apartment the last two years while house hunting in Crozet, and we have learned how difficult it is to have dogs without access to a yard. Now that we are settling into our new home, we are excited to offer our space for afternoon fetch, morning zoomies, and just lounging in the sunshine. Animals just make the world a better place. You will always have complimentary access to our hammock and swing gazebo but the use of the Solo Stove is an additional fee. Please review our add ons before booking and please text me with any questions you have 571-205-8470. Come enjoy some nature time in our yard in Crozet. :) Arrival Notes: When you arrive you can park anywhere on our gravel drive away. The gate to the right of the house that goes into our garden is where you will enter. Our sunflowers are dead and an eye sore right now, but I’m letting the birds and squirrels finish up their feast of seeds. This “holding” area in the garden gives you a chance to triple check there are no lingering guests or animals in the yard. Once you are in our backyard please shut the gate behind you. Most guests enjoy hanging out in the firepit area where there are hammock swings and seating. Along the fence, you will see a spot for water, toys, and other things I thought you may need. We ask that guests not utilize our small deck near the house, so that our dogs don’t bark and disturb their stay! So far all of our guests have come a second time, so if you end up booking again, I’d love any feedback on how to make your visit extra special. Anyway, that is all for now, thanks again and enjoy the sunshine!! ~Katie

Absolutely a great place to bring your dog if any size, energy level, and/or reactivity! This was our first sniff spot experience and we will definitely be going back! Plenty of room for my dog/reactive german shepherd to run around, be chased, and burn off some energy! We didn’t hear or see the owners dogs at all and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The yard was extremely secure with latching gates and tall privacy fence. There were toys laid out and ready to go for my dog. Poop bags and trash bin were also provided in an east location. Plenty of places to sit and hang out for the humans as well. An overall great experience. Highly recommend especially if your dog is dog reactive.

My dog had SO much fun running around this huge yard. I was meticulous in our selection of our first Sniffspot because my dog is a hound and will try to escape an enclosure if she catches a scent. She scouted every corner of the yard for a way out, but thankfully found none. The yard is incredibly secure. I live in an apartment complex and there aren’t many areas where she can safely run around off leash, so I’m excited to have found this perfect spot. We’ll certainly be back!

Amazing back yard the owner is so nice and accommodating. The back yard had water and toys ready and it was huge perfect for my husky to run and play fetch.

This was a great yard for our new puppy and two greyhounds to play in. The greyhounds are a bit older and pretty lazy but they all got to zooming around Loren’s yard. We were there after a storm so it was a bit breezy and the wind blew the gate at the top of the stairs down a couple times, but we just used the plastic chairs to keep the dogs from going up on the deck.

Great spot, lots to explore and sniff. My dog was interested in trying to get on the deck but there were gates to block it. Fence was secure even for my small dog.

First, let me say how thrilled I am to have a local sniffspot. Most in our area are a bit remote for us. This yard is very nice for our area. There are many areas of interest to keep the sniffing pups entertained. There is cover if needed and a nice table under a tree. There is plenty of shade and open areas to run and play. We did see hosts and dogs arriving home but their dogs never barked or seemed to notice us. The yard is secure. There is one small area under the back gate that an extremely small crafty dog might try to use but nothing that was concerning for my medium dogs. My dogs were obsessed trying to get to the top deck, but I noticed the host had placed a gate at the top, which is helpful. Overall, my favorite spot so far. We’ll visit again soon.
