The property is at the end of a 0.8 mile gravel driveway. There are paths around the property in the woods and a field for ball chasing. It’s very far from a main road and safe for running off leash.

Conveniently located off of 250 and 29, near Stonefield. This yard features 6500 Sq. Ft of fully fenced in area. Fence is 6’ high and also dug into the ground. Water play available in-season only. Outdoor seating for humans and raised and shaded dog bed available for breaks. Fetch! Pet Care of Charlottesville offers personalized in-home pet care services from 30 min. visits to 24-hr overnight care in the client’s home. We also offer private in-home boarding. When our owner’s property is not booked for boarding, the yard is available to book for use on Sniff Spot.

We selectively open our dog friendly yard on a per day basis (6 hours = $90). Shade and sun, digging and sleeping, zoomies and cuddles, we got ya! We are pet positive and flow your trained prompts. Only one or two families at a time with loads of love from us!

I’m a dog trainer and I run a dog boarding/daycare from my home (hence all the different fenced spaces). When possible, daycare and boarding dogs will be taken indoors during your visit so that you and your pup can have uninterrupted time to play/work together in a quiet environment. This is not always feasible depending on the day/time of your visit and our schedule on any given day. Check in advance if your dog does not do well if they see/hear other dogs, people, or cars. The main SniffSpot is currently about 7,000 sq ft in our side field, which is perfect for running, playing fetch, working on recall and other obedience commands, and is full of smells to sniff out. Welcome to Gunther’s Run in Staunton, Virginia! A fully fenced one acre property for you to hangout while your dog or dogs run, play and get tuckered out. There is plenty of shade and a outdoor water pump & dog bowls for fresh water. There is a furnished shaded deck, lounge chairs, and a covered front porch with seating for inclement weather.

A 26 acre forest oasis with a stream sometimes flowing through the center. Over a mile of flagged, cleared trails for you and your pooch to get some exercise and lots of interesting sniffs! Stoney Run, a small stream, traverses the property, and is accessible from several trail locations. As a circuit you will walk over a couple of miles just on the trail. The rest of the 26 acres is also free to roam, but typically tree covered. The farm animals are fenced in an acre area. Our dogs can easily be put inside and our Pyrenees detained, if your pooch isn’t interested or ready for that sort of interaction. Typically our big guy, Titan, is a wonderful part of our visiting dog’s experience. But that will be left entirely up to you. You can hit the trails and chase some squirrels. Our beautiful, forested Shenandoah Valley parcel will be yours to sniff about freely.

I have 6 acres directly on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River. Great spot for small mouth fishing. Pictures taken are when the river was very low but regardless it’s still a pretty good spot to go out in the water. Also available to drop in or hop out for kayaking. Tucked away in Goochland County! Rural, quiet, and plenty of privacy! House is nestled on 4 acres (fenced-in area is a little over half an acre) of flat land. Large tree in backyard provides shade for the pups, along with a couple kiddie pools for the water lovers. Plenty of toys, tennis balls, and towels available. Rest assured, your pup will have plenty of room to sniff & explore ! Seating and umbrella available for the humans, as well as WiFi and reading material, so you can be cozy while your fur kid is romping!

This is the most beautiful farm land out in Powhatan, Easy to get to, with plenty of space and land. We have beautiful views, rolling hills, corn fields across the street, an amazing skyline, a lot of fresh, clean air, and a ton of space for dogs to sniff, explore, play and run. Bring up to 4 dogs to run, roam, fetch, and/or lay lazy in the sun. Plenty of shaded area too and a little creek running through some rolling hills in the back. There is also a water source and a spigot on the back of the house with a little private patio and you all are free to refill dog bowls and/or water bottles there. Feel free to bring snacks and/or lunch for a little picnic. If you want to bring dog treats and dog food, that’s good too! There is a trash can behind the shed where you can throw away your trash. Gravel parking area in the front. Perfect spot to allow your dogs to run off-leash since many dog parks enforce leash laws and do not allow dog owners to take their pets off-leash. No more than 4 dogs at a time. Our prices are as follows: one dog will cost $10 dollars for 90-min. time slot. Two dogs = $15 for 90-minute time slot. Three dogs = $20 for 90-minute time slot. Four dogs = $30 for a 90-minute time slot. We are not double booking the space either. We have four dogs of our own and they love it out here. Our dogs will be inside when yours are here to play and we will not allow them out when you visit. We ask that your dogs are brought by their owner or someone who knows the dog very well. If bringing three or more dogs, it may be smart to bring a friend, son, daughter, spouse to come with you so you can all enjoy time together. I also know that kids and spouses may just be along for the ride so there is a basketball hoop with two basketballs in the backyard. There is also a big hand-made rope swing for your little ones to sit and swing if you worry about how to entertain your child who may accompany you to our farm. There is also a big, beautiful, comfy beach hammock for shady laying, reading or relaxing for a child or spouse who may not want to play in the yard with the dogs. If you have any questions, let us know. We are easy-going, friendly and respectful people who know how important it is for dogs to have space and play time. No bookings will be allowed after 7 PM. This means that you can book from 7 PM - 8:30 PM with that being the last slot available for the day. We have a great space that we know others will find just as peaceful and beautiful as we do. We know that our farm has given our dogs a better quality of life and allows them to play, socialize and explore in a safe and secluded space and it has made them far more happy and healthy as a result. We want others to have a fun, wholesome time with their dogs, and to offer our space to others so that can experience the same serenity and joy that we do out here.
