The backyard was very spacious, clean, well-maintained, and overall very pretty. It was quiet and shady (a huge bonus on such a hot day). Which was so appreciated. We also arrived to a sweet welcome note with our names on it! The area was a great size, very clean, water available, fun toys, and I really like to privacy fence. We will absolutely be back, the dogs loved it! Being disabled, I’ve been having a hard time with my chronic pain and balance lately. Really large yard with plenty of room to play fetch. My dog had a blast! There was a toddler in the house who was super curious, and banging on the glass door that opened onto the deck, then at one point they opened the door and started to come out. That scared me as I haven’t tested my new rescue dog around kids yet. Luckily he was fine. But it took a while for an adult to notice and close the door - my dog was able to run all the way from the edge of the yard right up to the kid, and could easily have run into the house, before the door was closed. If your dog reacts badly with kids make sure to chat with the host about it first to keep everyone safe. Heather B.

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
