Lake Cavanaugh K9 Ranch

Unfenced
22 acres

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Kimberly's Partially Fenced acreage In Abbotsford

Partially Fenced
86 acres

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Give your dog wide open space to run and play here on a large acreage right in town. Coming here will feel like you are in the country with the beauty of the mountains, a field to run in and a trail to hike in. *Please note that the acreage is a total of 86 acres including the crop areas. There is very little time that the crop area is restricted. When the pumpkins are grown, it is fun to walk up the rows and we welcome the pups to be in there, take photos etc. If you visit during planting, we ask the dogs stay out of that area as that can damage the crop. There is lots of space to run and walk/hike. The perimeter trail is approximately 3.5km. There is short grass, tall grass the dogs can go in and out all over the field in the front and middle of the property. As well as up the hill trail.

Seth's 30 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Chimacum

Partially Fenced
30 acres

Glendale Farm Dog Park Description Welcome to Glendale Farm, a peaceful 180-acre working farm in the heart of the Chimacum Valley where dogs and their people can slow down, explore, and reconnect with nature. Our Sniffspot offers a unique off-leash experience surrounded by open pasture, mature forests, seasonal wetlands, orchards, and quiet farm roads. Depending on the season, you’ll enjoy expansive grassy areas, shaded woodland trails, and wide-open views of one of Washington’s most beautiful agricultural valleys. Your visit is designed to feel like a private countryside adventure. Dogs can sniff along hedgerows, explore winding trails, splash in seasonal puddles after the rains, and enjoy plenty of room to run while you relax beneath towering trees or take in the surrounding farmland. Wildlife sightings are common and may include deer, eagles, hawks, owls, frogs, and countless songbirds. Because Glendale Farm is an active agricultural property, you may occasionally see tractors, farm staff, livestock in separate fenced pastures, or other farm activity at a distance. Our Sniffspot area is selected to maximize privacy while respecting our farming operations. The property changes dramatically with the seasons. Spring brings wildflowers and lush green fields. Summer offers dry walking paths and warm evenings. Autumn is filled with colorful foliage and migrating birds, while winter showcases dramatic skies and peaceful landscapes. Please keep all gates exactly as you found them and remain within designated Sniffspot areas unless otherwise instructed. We encourage you to take your time, breathe deeply, and let your dog experience the sights, scents, and sounds of a working regenerative farm. ⸻ Cleanliness We work hard to provide a natural and enjoyable experience. As an active farm, the grounds are maintained regularly, though visitors should expect natural conditions including grasses, mud during wet weather, leaves, sticks, and uneven terrain. Please help us keep the farm beautiful by packing out any trash and disposing of dog waste in the provided receptacles. ⸻ Hazards HOST NOTE Glendale Farm is a working agricultural property and natural landscape. By visiting, you acknowledge that outdoor recreation carries inherent risks. Please use caution around: * Uneven ground, mole hills, roots, rocks, holes, mud, tall grass, and slippery surfaces. * Seasonal standing water and drainage ditches. * Fallen branches, blackberry vines, nettles, thistles, and native vegetation. * Wildlife including deer, raccoons, coyotes, birds of prey, snakes, insects, bees, wasps, and ticks. * Agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, fencing, irrigation lines, and other farm infrastructure. * Livestock located in fenced areas. Dogs must never approach, chase, or disturb farm animals. * Weather conditions that may change rapidly, including rain, wind, heat, or icy conditions. Dogs should not consume unknown plants, mushrooms, berries, or standing water. While we make every effort to provide a safe environment, visitors are responsible for supervising their dogs at all times. Please ensure gates remain closed behind you and respect any areas marked as private or closed for habitat restoration or farm operations. Guests assume all responsibility for themselves, their animals, and their belongings while visiting Glendale Farm and agree not to hold Glendale Farm or its owners liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, or incidents arising from use of the property. We hope you and your dog leave a little happier, a little muddier, and already planning your next visit to Glendale Farm. 🐾🌿

A walk in Dons woods

Fully Fenced
12 acres

We have a number of wide moss covered walking trails through the woods. The property is fully fenced with wire fencing. But it is NOT dog proof fencing . There is a natural wide buffer between trails and fencing in most spots. The west side has privacy fencing, hogwire fencing on the North and a creek borders the Southend. . We have dogs on the property but they do not go venturing into the woods unless we are with them.

Jason's 24 Acre Fully&partaily Fenced Private Dog Park In Blaine

Fully Fenced
5 acres

Hi, we have a couple different spots for your furry friend to play and get some energy out! The first spot is right by the entrance to the property and is a fully fenced like 1 acre. Add this word you’re more likely to be able to hear and possibly even see another dog. But still private and comfortable and very easy to get to The next spot is out in the back it’s about 20 acres is partially fenced with two horses roaming around The last one is past that area to the forest line and is a private trail that cuts through to the very back where it touches meets up with three other properties and opens up into about a two acre stretch of field with the culvert in the middle and a stream running through most of the time But it is also just partially fenced the trailer. There’s just blackberry bushes and trees on either side, but the trail itself maintained should be mostly clear. Of any branches and or bushes sticking out and impeding your walk where you can even ride your mountain bike if your dog prefers to run along side of you. I will be adding more pictures of this area very soon. Just wanted to get this add up. Thanks for looking. Hope to see you soon.

Frequently asked questions about Friday Harbor dog hiking trails

Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Friday Harbor?

Private dog hiking trails in Friday Harbor eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Friday Harbor's 18 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Friday Harbor dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?

Friday Harbor dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Friday Harbor dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Friday Harbor dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?

Friday Harbor owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Friday Harbor reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Friday Harbor dog hiking trails?

Yes! Friday Harbor dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Friday Harbor dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Friday Harbor dog hiking trails good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Friday Harbor dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Friday Harbor avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Friday Harbor dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Friday Harbor dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Friday Harbor dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Friday Harbor dog owners say about dog hiking trails?

Reviews of Friday Harbor dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Peaceful mini-retreat with field & woods is particularly praised in Friday Harbor. Read reviews to see real experiences from Friday Harbor dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Friday Harbor dog hiking trails?

Friday Harbor hosts maintain their own dog hiking trails and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Friday Harbor hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Friday Harbor dog hiking trail listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
