Camp Dilly Dally Doggie Park In Buckley

Partially Fenced
5 acres

We offer five acres of partially mowed fields and a natural wooded area. There is a small spring-fed pond and access to South Prairie Creek. Since the creek has a variable current, it may be best for larger dogs. The pond is ideal for smaller dogs who aren't strong swimmers. There are some logs and rocks to step over so sturdy shoes are recommended. We make a constant effort to subdue the blackberries but you may encounter strong-willed vines. Please avoid the dead tree area. There is a shed with supplies where you park.

Pig Beach (near Port Ludlow)

Fully Fenced
0.63 acres

A .63 acre dog sanctuary for you and your pup. The yard is well maintained with dog friendly grass and has incredible views of the Hood Canal and Puget Sound. If you're interested, there is private beach access for you and your pup to explore miles of beach (public but almost always empty). There are numerous dog toys available and a massive 6+ person, dog friendly couch (late Spring to early Fall) you can relax on and watch the canal when you need a break! Regarding the beach, there are approximately 50 steps which you will need to climb up and down to access the beach so please wear proper footwear. As this is on the Hood Canal and not a lake or a pond, tides impact the size of the beach. If you are hoping to walk endless miles of beach, the tide will need to be at 2ft or below. Anything under 4ft will give you a massive area (probably 1/2 mile or more) and almost guaranteed private area as only people with stairs can access the beach at this tide level. Though the beach is open at any point, I think the maximum height you would probably want to go is about 6.5ft. This still gives you and your dog a decent sized area to play in (approximately 500ft by 30ft or 1/2 acre). Photos 16 and 17 show the beach at 6.25ft with a very large sandy area for you and your pup to play in. Anything above 6.5 ft is not recommended as the beach just gets thinner and thinner, but you're able to try if you want. (no refunds given if you don't like what you find). With that said, a 8 ft tide still gives you approximately 20 feet x 300 feet of beach to roam so you pup still has some room to explore and 9ft is approximately 10 feet x 30 feet. You are responsible for checking out the tides before you go. Legally, I can't recommend any specific source for you to use, but you might find good information Googling "tide chart port ludlow". Regarding ADA Accessibility, my property is on a gently sloping hill. To access it, there are 2 very wide concrete steps to get to the grass. This would be doable for someone on crutches and probably ok for a regular wheelchair if you had a second person to help lower you to each step and pull you up. It's definitely not accessible to a motorized wheelchair. Sorry. Note - restroom is only available if I'm home, otherwise there is one approximately 2 miles northwest at the gas station in Port Ludlow

Frequently asked questions about Grapeview dog beaches

What types of dog beaches are available in Grapeview?

Grapeview has 10 dog beaches offers sandy shoreline, open water access, and beach play areas. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Grapeview. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book dog beaches in Grapeview?

Grapeview dog beaches are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Grapeview listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a dog beach in Grapeview?

Browse 10 available dog beaches in Grapeview, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Grapeview locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular dog beach in Grapeview?

Ashley's 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Duvall is highly rated among Grapeview dog beaches, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Grapeview listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use Grapeview dog beaches for training sessions?

Yes! Grapeview dog beaches are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice water entry and exit practice, beach recall with distractions, or sand terrain conditioning, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Grapeview professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do Grapeview dog beaches accommodate multiple dogs?

Most Grapeview dog beaches welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog beaches let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do Grapeview dog beaches offer?

Grapeview dog beaches feature amenities like direct shoreline access, open sandy play areas, fresh water rinse stations, and space for fetch and water play. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Grapeview listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are Grapeview dog beaches available year-round?

Weather permitting, many dog beaches are accessible year-round, though swimming conditions vary by season. Many Grapeview hosts maintain their dog beaches throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog beaches provide year-round access regardless of Grapeview weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
