Cooper and Teddy had a great time romping around the fenced yard, and they appreciated the water. We’ll be back!

Nice big fenced area with lots of sticks for chewing 😀 It was a cold day so we didn’t stay the full hour. In the warmer weather there is a pond with water, but Rocco enjoyed the mud just as much. 👍🏻

Cute little backyard with lots of room to let dogs run and play disc. My dogs rather enjoyed it and we’d go again. I would recommend bug spay if you’re the type of human that normally gets snacked on but other than that, big fan.

My dogs had such a blast! Plenty of room to run around and explore. The loved soaking in the little pond. (I’ll remember to bring a towel next time for the ride home!) Thanks for letting us visit!

Thank you for sharing your land! This location was exactly what I was hoping for and what my dogs love - varying terrain - grass area, multiple streams and water to cross and play in, plenty of woods and adventure. Wear your boots. We will be back!

Nice sized yard that is secure, with plenty of shady trees and interesting features like bamboo for dogs to roam around.

It was our first time using Sniffspot and this was a great start. The yard was large enough for my dogs to run. Shade if you need it and the fencing is very secure with no dogs on any side. The host was very accommodating. I’m sure we will return.

Danielle gave great instructions for using the property and even set out a fresh bowl of water on the deck for my pups. The place is like a little park with plenty of room for pups to explore. I plan to come back!

This is a great spot, and made a long day of driving much more pleasant for my dogs. Danielle was very accommodating about getting me in for a last-minute booking, and making sure my dogs had as much time as they needed. The yard is fully fenced and very secure for dogs who aren’t tempted to jump

Our dogs had a great time. Secure 4ft fence to romp in. Lots to sniff. Easy parking and access to the yard. Bring plenty of water and a bowl. It was humid so we took lots of breaks from playing to rest and drink water.

the perfect yard! i have a very sensitive rescue and the totally fenced in yard was a great size, very safe, and removed from the street (its a quiet cul-de-sac anyway). we will definitely be back -- a huge thank you to the host!

A great space! Frankie enjoyed sniffing everywhere, and we even got to play hide and seek around the trees. We will be back to enjoy some off leash time and new smells!

Nice backyard! There are lots of chipmunk and gopher tunnels. The owners had traps, but you'll want to watch your ankles.
Next door has very energetic hounds, so be ready to call your dog off from fence racing.
Thank you for letting me use your yard!

Great location! Large space so close to the city. My 70 lbs. Lab mix was kept in fine by the fence. Nicely kept yard.

This property is for the adventurous type! Be sure to wear your bug prevention because there are lots of tall grasses, weeds, and plants to wade through. The dogs absolutely loved a piece of country living! Please be aware, the gate does not open, so you’ll need to park in front of it and walk around it to enter. I’m sharing photos of some things that could be considered a little dangerous, just so you’re aware that these things are on the property.

My pups were exhausted and happy! Overall, it was great. The human was a little disappointed. The description has since been updated about the closed gate. It's nerve wracking walking onto someone else's property, let alone when you're told the gate is open, but after driving 40 minutes it's closed. We only found one creek, and access was blocked by barbed wire going along the property perimeter where it was. Hilltop has a small section of maintained grass the rest is more like a tall brush field, not like in the pictures. Again, pups had a blast, I would have prepared differently had I know.

Fantastic!! Lots of grassy room to run and a big hill to climb, which is great to wear out those high energy pups!!!
Lots of varied terrain to explore which is wonderful, just watch for burrs. Plus no mud at all, even after all the torrential rain we’ve been getting!

Dogs loved it, and she was prepared with toys, sunscreen, bug spray, poop bags and everything else you need to have an enjoyable visit!
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the High Ridge area are 5 stars.
