Rent safe and private dog agility parks hosted by locals in Hood River, Oregon

Hi! My name is Theresa. I recently started my sniffspot and love sharing my property with you and your doggos to enjoy. We will provide you and your best friend ( friends) with two acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage, roam amongst the trees, dig, or just take in all the smells. Our visitors tell us It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or practice on some of the agility equipment . Our space is very peaceful and beautiful, with lots of texture. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, they may see or hear my pups if they are outside. My pups may also bark for a minute as you play in the grass area down below if they see you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. They are very friendly. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will see them. Those same neighbors also have some piglets that are sometimes allowed to roam on the back end of their property. There is a chance you will catch them romping around. We hope to see you soon!

The wading pool is out, with the hose nearby for you to let Fido cool off during the hot days and evenings of summer. Just please be water wise, and only fill a few inches up. OUR LARGE BEAUTIFUL PATIO AND COVERED AWNING WILL KEEP YOU DRY. We also have an 'Alexa' dot ready to play your favorite songs while you're here! Just say 'Alexa' first, tell her what you like, and she'll play just about anything. You and your pups will love our very artistic boho farm! Mud free paved entrance and patio, extra picnic table, chairs and tables, swing, toys, night lighting til 10pm, light up collars/leashes upon request, disc golf basket, clean porta potty access, doggie poop bags hanging all around the field w/disposal cans! There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. So, just ask if you'd also be interested in using the farm for your own special event! We've had tons of doggie play date and birthday parties here. Just inquire first letting me know how many cars there'd be. If too many cars for F1, then F2 will work out during dry months, as you can drive your cars right into the field. (Note: Bring boots and a rag. Currently muddy. There is a hose to wash off afterwards.) Relax with your pooch in a hidden valley away from street noise in our private dog park called The Dog-Out! Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. Coming Soon: a swing-set for the kids, more obstacles, more toys. Dogs are free to dig as much as they want! Our farm is 1/2 mile down a private drive. The Sniffspot is at our property entrance along our driveway. There’s a mini-Aussie that lives in the white house 500 ft away from the Sniffspot. Come down the first driveway. You will see a white sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage. Basically you can park anywhere :) Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the pasture is wet, slick and hard packed in certain areas. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Playhouse is open for photos and kids. I have an acre of dog safe fenced field. I do use this for my own dogs as well. It is maintained and a nice area for dogs to run!

Our spot was designed and built specifically to help keep pets in their homes. We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up or have them end up in a shelter. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward's mission of keep families together.

Several trails, a shallow creek, and partially wooded. Main loop trail (Rogue Loop) is 0.56 miles in length. The rest of the trails add another 1/2 mile. Access to hose and bowl for fresh water and rinsing off muddy feet (not available when temperatures are below freezing). WiFi available (rogue ranch guest) at the front of property, and cell service throughout. Property can be muddy if it has been/is raining. Recommend boots for humans. Recommend strong recall for dogs visiting or long lead. Bring towels to clean/dry dog feet. Please pick up after your pet and dispense in one of the three waste containers along the trails. Please be respectful of privacy to the occupants in the house!

It is Springtime! The wading pool is free! Our SS is a wide open space where your dog can run and play. Please DO NOT bring an unvaccinated dog to our SS. PLEASE keep an eye on your dog(s), not your phone! Unfortunately I have found missed messes, so please monitor your doggos. if you forget bags. we have extra in the "milk box" next to the porch steps, and feel free to use any toys you find in the SS! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Dogs of all sizes are allowed! Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided via the hose/hydrant near the gate. (Located to the left of the gate as you enter!) Please the area east of the driveway and behind the house and have a good time exploring and playing! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. We are mindful of your space, and we are careful to ensure the gate is kept closed. Thank you for visiting our Sniffspot!

2024-05-20 Update: The new fencing is complete for the first area! We are still working on fully fencing the "open play" section, so please keep doggos in the "fenced" green section for now. Welcome to Two Sisters Dog Park. We have a perfect little slice of freedom for your pupper! There is a fenced area for those that are still learning and a wide open play area for those that are okay off leash and want to get the lead out. As a working hobby farm we are constantly working on the property, but we will always be respectful and give you privacy. If you or your dog wants to say hello or has any questions about the animals/property, we are here, just give a wave or a holler. Please make sure all dogs and people visiting are respectful of the farm animals. We have goats, chickens, and turkeys fenced in along the dog area. We have a roaming farm cat. We have bee hives on property but away from the dog area. We do have a Rough Collie puppy on site. He is indoors but is 99% interested in running around if your dog would like a companion.

Whether you're looking to catch the sunset, bask in the sun or relax above the clouds, our yard is the place to be. We are located just a few minutes from HWY 205. PNW weather can be unpredictable so keep in mind when booking in advance and BUNDLE up! The fully fenced yard features views of the city, includes lounge chairs, dog toys, water hose, and some covered shade. New Tetherball is now up! Treats on occasion for dogs and humans. Rocks, grass and dirt cover the yard. *Parking space is available. Please use Caution when entering and exiting the property. There are hills, slopes and even deer spotting. Later times now available. Sunsets are the best right now! 💦 Dog water bowls available. Please empty the bowls before you leave. New toys rotated regularly; used toy bin on site. Thanks in advance for picking up after your pup!

*FRESH WATER BOWL* Moments before you arrive, we will put out a clean and fresh water bowl. No worries about sharing with any other dogs. *COMMON SENSE WARNING* If your dog is sick in any way, please keep them home until they feel better 🙂 Come play in our huge, fully fenced back yard! We are located in the Cully neighborhood, just minutes from the airport and the Alberta Arts District. This would be a perfect private spot to work on training.

Approximately 5 acres fenced and ready to go! There is a pond and creeks on the property, but the amount of water in them varies by the season. There is an outdoor horse arena with some old jumps and weave poles one can utilize. There is also a horse teeter-totter that one can use to help their dog feel the ground moving under them. There are also a ton of fallen down trees and tree stumps that can be used for Parkor type things! There are a couple spots in the fence that a small/medium dog could get through, but there is a second backup area that is 100% secure should their be a problem. The height of the grass and such varies by season as well.

We have agility jumps and cones and a platform you are welcome to use. There is a crate with rubber dog toys next to the water bowl for your use as well. You are welcome to help yourself to the raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries in the summer. There will be a shade umbrella next to the sofa and table. I also have plans to fill the space with flowers for your viewing pleasure in the spring. 😊🌻
