Rent safe and private small dog parks hosted by locals in Hood River, Oregon

We have two full acres of fully fenced property for your dogs to run free! Part of the property is Forest, where your dogs can forage or do scent work. It's the best of both worlds with the woods to roam and open areas to play fetch or play on some of the agility equipment like jumps and weaves. I have three dogs that roam the upper 2 Acres of my property. If your dogs roam Into the edge of the Woods up to the dividing fence , they will see my pups if they're out. My pups may also bark as you play in the grass area down below if they see you. The property adjacent to us is home of two very nice dogs. They are very friendly but there is a chance you and your dog will see them. Other visitors have told me they are very sweet and do not even bark when they are out there playing. Those same neighbors also have some pigs that are sometime allowed to roam on the backend of thier property. There is a chance you will catch them romping around.

This is a 2 acre wooded loop on Mt Scott. Our property bumps up against the Wahoo nature reserve is very private, shaded by large trees and well maintained. Our dog loves the woods and creek. We decided to open it to the community so other dogs and their families can enjoy it.

(Note: Bring boots and a rag. Currently muddy. There is a hose to wash off afterwards.) Relax with your pooch in a hidden valley away from street noise in our private dog park called The Dog-Out! Sit in the woodsy A-frame hut, out of the sun or rain while your pups explores the 1/3 acre area. Sit at the picnic table and share lunch together. Need to get out some energy? Run your dog through all the agility obstacles! A Saw-Dust Toilet Outhouse is available for your convenience. See pictures. It’s there incase you need it. Coming Soon: a swing-set for the kids, more obstacles, more toys. Dogs are free to dig as much as they want! Our farm is 1/2 mile down a private drive. The Sniffspot is at our property entrance along our driveway. There’s a mini-Aussie that lives in the white house 500 ft away from the Sniffspot. Large fully fenced yard available for your pups! Very dog friendly! You can park on the left side of the driveway. Then go around the left side of the house, lift the latch and enter the space. There is a hammock you’re welcome to use, along with other outdoor furniture. I’ve put out water bottles, hand sanitizer, and the WiFi info is posted. I’m still improving the space, with a few doggy items on their way, including dog bowls, baggies and a waste receptacle. In the meantime, please put waste in the gray bin on the left side of the house. Thanks!

Maybe just a glimpse of them when they are arriving or leaving their cars from a distance. We have buildings and trees that separate the two. We offer poop bags all around the field, and a garbage can for your use (used poop bags only please). If you happen to see a pile someone missed, please help us out, but PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR PETS AND PICK UP AFTER THEM, TOYS TOO!!!. Thank you so much for your cooperation! We also provide a large fence attached bowl and water hose, balls/chukits and fun toys, comfy swing, and plenty of tables/benches. ALSO, if you'd like to have an event on our farm anywhere, we can discuss your wants and make something work for you. We also host overnight stays in two cottages we have on the property. The trails are fenced in completely and a GREAT opportunity to practice recall and other off leash skills to prepare for future hikes with no boundaries(fencing). We are fully fenced and offer a mini trail system. You can find a long line by the water jug if you are just beginning recall training.

Our spot was designed and built specifically to help keep pets home. We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward to continue serving our mission to keep families together.

Hello there, we have a lovely backyard completely pup friendly as we have two of our own. Lots of room to explore and run around. We are fully fenced in. We have a back porch where you can sit and relax in our egg chair or on our outdoor couch. There is a coffee table as well if you want to bring your laptop and work while your puppy explores.

Beautiful fully fenced area. Lots of trees for shade but also open space for pups to run.

Come down the first driveway. You will see a white sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage. Basically you can park anywhere :) Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." Great place to explore and let them sniff. Looking to the right when out in the pasture, the neighbors Goldens occasionally bark. Two fences between properties on this side. Owner usually calls them when barking. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. As of now the pasture is wet, slick and hard packed in certain areas. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Playhouse is open for photos and kids. It is Springtime! This is a wide open space where your dog can run and play. Please DO NOT bring an unvaccinated dog to our SS. PLEASE keep an eye on your dog(s), not your phone! Unfortunately I have found missed messes, so please monitor your doggos. if you forget bags. we have extra in the "milk box" next to the porch steps, and feel free to use any toys you find in the SS! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Dogs of all sizes are allowed! Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided via the hose/hydrant near the gate. (Located to the left of the gate as you enter!) Please the area east of the driveway and behind the house and have a good time exploring and playing! There are bunnies, cats and squirrels on the property so we ask that you please restrain your dog for the first 30 seconds or so when entering the property to give those animals a chance to react to the presence of a new animal. Allowing your dog to chase cats or wander up onto the house's porch are not allowed. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres near Mt. Scott Creek: We are a private park about ten minutes from Clackamas Town Center. A fully enclosed (1 acre) field and hills with Mt Scott Creek meandering through the lower field (the creek is not fenced at both ends). The creek runs all year; the water level reduces in the summer, but there are locations where dogs can still completely submerge themselves and cool off on hot days. In the winter, the water level rises and turns into rushing torrents after a few days of heavy rain. The entire acreage is pesticide-free, making it safe and ideal for dog owners who enjoy playing hide and seek with their pets. Rainy boots are recommended that one section of the lower field can get wet and muddy in the winter on rainy days, otherwise the majority of the fields, especially the upper fields, are completely dry. Sniffin' Hours: Monday through Sunday: 8 am to 7 pm (Spring & Summer) 8 am to 4:30 pm (Autumn & Winter) Our two 5-year-old Doberman and mastiff mixes will be indoor for the entire duration of your visit. Conveniently located 2 minutes off of I-205 and 7 min off of I-5! Fully fenced, flat field, with short grass, which makes for the perfect space for your dog(s) to run to their hearts desire! You can easily launch a chuck it ball full force in any direction! Also an ideal spot for training, especially disengage/reengage recall. You can keep an eye on your pups from all areas. The field is graded for proper water drainage, so there won’t be much of any mud during the rainy season. There is privacy from the main residence and the road. The trash can is located behind the brown lounge chairs, it can be easy to miss. ** The table and umbrella are mainly to provide shade in the summer, but there won’t typically be dry seating when it is raining, although I do my best to dry it off between the rain. ** Please do not enter the yard until the start of your appt, as I typically have my own dogs back there in between booked appts.

Welcome to Thayer Ridge Acres, a fully fenced acre in Oregon City located within a short mile of Clackamas Community College and Berry Hill Shopping Center. The property is a perfect pup playground, with a large grass field and a small stand of Douglas Fir trees for shade at the entrance. The fence is secure two-inch mesh for safety. Enjoy our toys, water hose and bowl, and open space to run free! Dog Moms and Dads can take a break from throwing the ball at the table in the shade. Our covered area is a place to step out of the drizzle and watch your pups without getting wet. Bonus...Mount Hood views on clear days! Our yard is mostly grass with some trees for shade, chairs and a hammock for humans, and plenty of privacy for all. Fences are solid wood, 6 feet tall all around. Our pup, Major, will be indoors (unless you request a play with him - he's a friendly golden retriever). We'll keep the curtains closed for your privacy, but he may sneak a peak to say hi through the window. If you have a reactive dog and would like our dog completely out of sight, message me and I can accommodate that with prior notice. There are neighbors on the side with dogs that your pup may see arriving to the spot. Plenty of parking in front of the house. Private side yard entrance to the right of the house by the garage. Please use what you see available - pooper scooper and dog bags on the patio, toys throughout the yard, towels, hose and water station for pups, garbage bin on your way out at the side of the house.

We are a lacrosse family. Our kids play out in the field space daily but we want to share the space with others. There is a barn out at the very back of the property that is being enclosed soon and otherwise it is purely open space to run and enjoy the views

The yard is square shaped, with short grass throughout. There is some dirt spots to the side. Perfect hard for a shy pup or one that needs an enclosed space that isn’t too large. It is very open and kept clean!

It is fully 1 ace private open, combination with trees shade area, that is in Portland. My spot is very not far by the freeway, easily accessible and has private entrance. We provide freshwater and poop bags for dogs. Chairs for people. Dog party are welcome, if you have more 4 dogs, please add plus extra dogs and Parking fee into your booking. Please clean up after your dog, if you have kids, please keep the kid safe.
