Tucked back off the road is a not so boring field and little wooded area with a creek running through. We saw the magic in it when we bought it in 2024 and decided we wanted to share it with others in 2025. We hope you love it as much as we do 🐶❤️

Montana's 5 Acres in Camas

Welcome! We have two gates entering the property! Please do your best to use the western entrance (the gate on the RIGHT) while turning off Brunner Road and facing the property. The gate on the left is automatic, and if I notice your arrival, I will open the gate for you within minutes, otherwise, please safely drive to the correct gate. There are three fields! The first field is the property you will enter from the busy main road. This is field one. I may or may not have “blocks” on this field for gardening or exploration with friends and family, so if your dogs are unbothered by people (me gardening), please message me and I will open the space for you to reserve your time if you can safely manage your pups in field one (please read all descriptions), or if you would like to utilize the other fields and don’t mind saying hello in passing while you enter field two (to field three, etc.) Please read ALL descriptions (including photos) before entering the property. Failure to do so will result in being blocked, as this is to keep you, your dogs, and my dogs safe :)! I know it’s a lot, but once you read everything, the 100’s of previous guests have proved that there will be zero issues, and I am here to help! Message me any and all questions :)! Return the toys and balls to where you found them, to the best of your ability. 5 acres is a lot of ground to cover, so please do your best to pick up your dog poop and return the balls. This is not always possible with such a large space, but after five or six visits I will certainly notice if the turds pile up and the balls all go missing- just do your best and don’t worry if you lose a few balls, just let me know! Please return what you use as you find it :)! Do not knock on my doors unless it is an emergency (and please do so if there is an emergency). My personal cell is available for emergencies only, and again, please ask if it is an emergency. If THERE IS an emergency, I will assist to the best of my ability. I offer a pet first aid kit (bleed stop, staple gun, antimicrobrial wound spray, etc) with phone numbers and addresses on hand of local emergency vets (you won’t need these, but I have them just incase!) because we live by a busy road (read all descriptions), and there are coyotes in the early mornings and late evenings every so often. I spend early mornings and evenings outside most everyday, and can hear yelling (from past Sniffspot users) to know when something is not going right during your visit. I will alert you to coyote activity, and intervene if I hear yelling lol (it’s happened a couple of times, please read reviews). It’s a great spot, and all of this information is to help you make the best first experience for you and your pup(s), for hopefully many more fun adventures together on the property. Thank you! We have 3 separate fields. Black berry bushes are very present in all fields and not sprayed, so feel free to snack when they are out! FIELD 1: Closest to busy road, least suitable for free-roam incase of delivery or neighbor utilizing third gate on our easement. I consider this field “the buffer zone”. Best suited for dogs with proper recall skills, best to have pups leashed until you enter field 2 otherwise. Feel free to roam on-leash for extra smells! ORANGE/PINK flags indicate boundaries as a buffer to prevent trespassing onto neighboring property back into the woods. There are times when I have to leave or enter the property (field one), or deliveries may be made, so it’s always best to have dogs leashed in field one. I always give a heads up if we will be entering or exiting the property during your visit. Water access is in field 1 by the house, and please turn off water when finished refreshing for yourself. Our dogs will be heard from this field (from inside of the house). You will find the 2nd gate entrance here, into field 2. Look for the black garbage can, as well as blue kiddy pool to navigate to field 2 (by the logs 🪵). FIELD 2: the best field! Our backyard. It is completely fenced in, private, and safe for dogs 15lbs and up- smaller dogs such as our 9lb dog need to wear a device (to recall) or a large harness of sorts because fencing is large enough for them to escape through. The fencing is approximately 3’ high, 3”x4” holes, typical cattle fencing. Horses can be seen from this field on neighbor’s property at times, along with their dog, Cooper, who will come right up to the fence line. He is friendly and sweet, but be aware incase yours is reactive. This field is sloped, which is excellent for exercise! There are trees blocking our house and windows for privacy (great because of our noisy dogs) and has easy gate access, as well as accessible water. There is a nice view of Mt. Hood on the log benches, with a couple of log benches scattered around the property, a few in the lower portion of the field 3 under the trees. I try my best to maintain and refresh a kiddy pool and the water bowl, but please help yourself. Field 3: I strongly recommend against use of field 3 during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off in field 3, you will have a LOT of ground to cover without much sight distance (on foggy days). Field 3 continued: This is an excellent field for dogs with solid recall skills. Through the first two fields, is field 3, a property long and flat, one which openly borders our neighbor’s property. You must go through the gate at the bottom of field 2 to enter this field. While this field is technically entirely fenced, the fencing on the adjacent property has one fault where a tree fell down on it. The entire field is not all ours, so we have marked boundaries using orange/pink flags, and “Do not enter” signs. Please reference photos for what these orange boundary flags look like. The orange flags indicate hazards along fence line, entrance to bee hives (marked by “Do Not Enter” signs, and boundaries between properties. Close each gate behind you. Field three is wooded, so please note that dogs with excellent recall skills may forget them with all of the scents ruminating from this area. This wooded area wraps up and around to field one if you find you have lost your pup, but is on someone else’s property. If I hear you yelling for your pup, I’ll probably come ask if you need help. Field three borders our neighbors property and you will be technically trespassing should you pass the boundary flags. Cautions: A coyote frequents this lower field (field 3) on a semi-regular basis, typically in the early mornings and late evenings, so large dogs with proper recall training are advised only. I strongly recommend against use of this field during foggy periods for safety of your pets. Should a dog without proper recall training decide to wander off, it will not be fun trying to find them. This field (field 3) is a split property (2 parcels), half ours, half the neighbor’s. Please be mindful of maintaining general boundaries (see photos of orange/pink flags designating boundary lines). It’s quite rugged, so be there could be wild animal scat, mole holes, and uneven grass. There is a digging area here too. I have seen coyotes, skunks, deer, owls, a feral cat, and bunnies in this field. Horses and neighbor dog cooper are sometimes visible. Don’t be intimidated, unless your dog has poor recall skills. Welcome to Green Acres Homestead! Discover acres of adventure on our fully fenced pasture, complete with a seasonal creek and a peaceful pond—perfect for dogs to run, splash, and explore. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (A dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Important: Please keep an eye out for sniff spot signs and follow them carefully to reach the designated play area. You are encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway infront of the fence. Reality alert: Most folks already understand this and really enjoy bringing their dog here to play but for those that may not be as familiar we really want to make sure that you understand the environment that you will experience when you come to our sniff spot. It is very likely that the following could occur: 1)Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility 2)See a farmer working 3)See livestock share a fence line (Yes you can say hello to them) 4)Find mud in the wet season, no creek in the dry season 5)Alge in the pond when the water is not flowing and weeds in the field 6)We work towards keeping the main area of the field free of blackberries and weeds that poke by mowing but do not guarantee a weed free environment 7)The creek and pond are spring fed but there is always a chance of picking something up in nature 8)Your dog is welcome to dig and carry sticks and rocks. Be aware there may be holes, sticks or rocks 9)There is a dock that has no problem supporting my family on the pond but makes no promise to support anyone. You are welcome to use it but understand that is at your own risk and judgment. 10)The pond has gradual sloping sides on over half the pond but there are sections where it is steep. 11)We really don't want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place like we, do but also don't want people to expect something that is maybe not a reality. Sadie's Paradise

We live on 20 acres and it’s all open field with the exception of our house and barns. There are neighbors and old barns to stay away from but other than that the field behind our house or on the east side is available for you and your dogs to roam. There is often a mowed trail around the property but beware in the rainy weather it’s wet and can get deep!

There is plenty to sniff for the pups and we maintain the field regularly in the spring/summer to keep the grass short. A peaceful, private space where dogs can run, sniff, and explore freely. Spring is one of our favorite seasons—the creek is flowing, the pasture is green, and many guests return again and again to experience it. We are a rural, outdoor property designed for dogs who need room to run, sniff, and decompress. Please note it is partially fenced and bordered by foliage and Abernathy Creek. Other Animals & Activity: • No other dogs are present on the property. • Two cats may be visible; please supervise dogs that chase cats. • The property is mostly quiet; occasional outdoor activity from the homeowner may occur. • Occasional machinery or vehicle noise may be heard from surrounding areas. Terrain: This is a natural field environment. Terrain may include: • Uneven ground • Natural holes or divots • Sloped areas • Tall grass and seasonal vegetation • Mud depending on weather • Rocks, roots, and other natural features • Wildlife and insects Guests should wear appropriate footwear and supervise dogs at all times. Beautiful fully fenced park-like setting. Lots of trees for shade but also open space for pups to run. A newly added rain shelter. Lounge chairs picnic tables, tree swings. Use of basketball court just bring your own ball or there may be one in the shelter. Dogs and humans are welcome to run through the flowers., bushes and trees. ❤️

We are located on 45 acres of private farm land. A wide path leads to the Clackamas River. The pasture isn’t fenced but is surrounded in blackberries and brush. Very private.

Welcome to Columbia Gateway Columbia Gateway is a fairly wide-open space where your dogs can run and play. We have a variety of shady spots, trees, plants that harbor animals ans birds. Pick your fill of blackberries July-August. Please never bring any unvaccinated dog or puppy. Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes. Extra waste bags are available in the old milk box next to the porch steps. Credits are given to good samaritans for helping with missed piles! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. Water is provided unless freezing temps are expected May-Sept PLEASE USE SPIGOT Next to House Chimney for water or NEXT TO HOSE BOX by fence. If not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle should always be open (up) in summer months. Park area is east of the driveway then the grass wraps around back of the house. Have a good time exploring and playing! We appreciate your business and love dogs. Please just encourage them to avoid the porch areas and flower/fruit gardens. Leave any open water line or hose running if found that way in summer months. Residents of the home may come and go during your reservation. This is a rare but possible occurrence. Fun Farmyard Play Place

We have a nice grass yard fully fenced. We used to have dogs but lost them over the years and our yard is lonely and needs some play time. The trees along the road in the pictures have been recently removed. We also have some new neighbors who have dogs that do bark when they hear other dogs but they are across the horse field, not right next door.

I have an acre of dog safe fenced field. I do use this for my own dogs as well. It is maintained and a nice area for dogs to run!

We have a small gazebo in case there is rain. Lower part of field during heavy rain can have wet spots. The area is a fully fenced field almost 2 acres. A short walk to field from parking.

Tail Waggers private dog park

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies.  There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. A porta potty for your convenience. Multiple poop depots throughout the park with bag dispensers. Two water play areas one is shallow to help pups to acclimate comfortably to water play. The other is the larger man-made pond area. The larger pond area has a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. A large selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval are nearby. A Muddy Paw Spa to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. For those concerned about blue green algae, a bulletin board showing a test kit that can be purchased through Amazon. Test takes 15 minutes, with 99% accuracy. Next to it is an area to post the initials of the tester, date, time, and results of the test for other guests to see. Any guest doing this will be given an extra 15 minutes to the end of their reservation time on us. Please let us know in advance if you decide to do the test. For reasons to detailed to get into now, there’s never been an issue with blue green algae at Tail Waggers. A comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

The Paw'd Park In Battle Ground

Our spot was designed and built specifically to help keep pets in their homes. We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up or have them end up in a shelter. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward's mission of keep families together.

Easley Acres Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Vancouver

We live on 5 acres about 1 mile from Camp Bonneville. The 2 acre pasture has a fenced seasonal pond in the middle, flat and open with lots of room for zoomies, frisbee, fetch, or just lounging and enjoying the birds and trees. Pasture is fenced with 4 foot field fence with electric wire at the top (not charged), and separate from the house. Front fence borders on 68th St. Plenty of room to run and explore! Let's keep the pasture nice, please discourage digging and pick up after dog. My Border Collie and Mini Aussie will find your leavings (it's a large space, I understand things get missed, it helps to carry poo bags to minimize backtracking). For human exercise... 6 laps around perimeter fence is approx. 1 mile, 6 laps around pond fence is approx. 1/4 mile.

Washougal Valley View

Weather has changed and the field is now fresh and green. Enjoy the spring season. 1.5 acres for your dog to play in. The west side is open to the road, but has a drop off to slow your dog from going into the road. With that said, still a HUGE area to play in, safely for your pet. The tall grass on the south is not our property. The cut field south of the house is the only place to play. Be cautious of the road and rope fence to the east. I want nothing to happen to your fur family. If it’s sunny and you would like shade, you are welcome to take a break between the house and shop. The grass area north of the house or by the trees north of the driveway is too close to the neighbors to the north. They are great people and have a dog fenced. He’s a good dog, but I don’t want your dog triggered by him. please remember and not, my land is partially fenced, so don’t expect fencing if your dog needs it. I can’t explain well enough how big this area is, but if you need fencing, this spot isn’t for you. I will be tracking visits. For every 10th visits, the 11th visit(1hr) is free. On your 10th visit, I will message your to schedule and block out when you would like that 11th, ON THE HOUSE!

There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. So, just ask if you'd also be interested in using the farm for your own special event! We've had tons of doggie play date and birthday parties here. Just inquire first letting me know how many cars there'd be. If too many cars for F1, then F2 will work out during dry months, as you can drive your cars right into the field. Come down the first driveway. You will see a white address sign “Windenfir” You will then see a sign “Windenfir Training Field.” Parking avail in front of gate, near the exit, or in front of garage. Agility course, tennis balls, fresh water, and poo buckets available. Hose is on if not freezing temps. After going though Windenfir training field gate you will see the back gate with a sign “Windenfir Dog Pasture." All fenced and ready for some dog time. Back gate in pasture is open but has a few hazards (creek running high and not fenced). On leash only.. Ground is Slick from leaves so be careful. The pasture has goat droppings so no surprises. This is a farm :) Chickens and goats in separate area and visible to dogs (see photos). Don’t be surprised if they come up to the fence to see what’s going on. The animals have been raised around dogs and are not bothered by them. They would come out if they could. Very nice field fencing in pasture. Chain link/field fencing in training field. Cattle fence in pasture. As of now the training field and pasture are muddy and slick in areas. Agility equipment can be slick also due to rain. Check pasture area if deciding to throw a ball/stick/small child :). Hard packed in areas and not level in some. Playhouse is open for photos and kids. Private Dog Park by the Creek

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres near Mt. Scott Creek: Just 5 minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre enclosed field offers open space, rolling hills, and the serene Mt. Scott Creek meanders through the property. The creek flows year-round—its levels dip in summer—and there are several spots where pups can wade and cool off on warm days. Please note: the creek is not fenced at both ends. Our field is pesticide-free and treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to sanitize and keep it free of pests. The creekside can be muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry year-round. Sniffin’ Hours: Monday to Sunday Spring & Summer: 8 AM – 8:30 PM Autumn & Winter: 8 AM – 7 PM During your visit, our two 5-year-old Doberman-Mastiff mixes will remain indoors so you and your pup can explore freely.
