Brittany's 8 acre Private Dog Park In Tarentum

Unfenced
8 acres

This very private area has a natural dip from the main road that protects puppers from wandering into unknown territory. Two fields of 4 acres each are available for the sniff spot; one field has 7 baby apple trees and the other has a very large, flat area for the dogs to run. Feel free to park in the main house driveway and walk your dogs across the street to enjoy our little haven from city life. You should have both flea and tick medications up-to-date since deer and groundhogs often walk through the fields in the early morning and evening. Please bring your own water for the dogs, though a hose is available in the main house driveway as well. I hope you enjoy!

Brooke's 8.5 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Mars

Unfenced
8.5 acres

Our home sits on 8 acres with Glade Run Creek running through it! We have two large fields as well as woods in the back of the house. If you need a quiet place for your dog to roam and swim like our dogs do, please enjoy! (My dogs will be put away and we no longer have birds…just a cute photo for reference/view of the property) Note: the field with the golf course and volleyball is not our property. One of our neighbors has a dog that is occasionally out which we have no control over, however, there are 8 acres to explore so if you see his dog outside on his property, it’s easy to avoid an interaction. In the summer, the wire fence around the garden in the front field is electric to keep out deer, won’t hurt your pup but will definitely give them a startling zip if they touch it. If we are home we will sometimes be out on our deck, mostly in the summer, but our house is up on the hill and with 8 acres to explore and the creek running through the center of our property, it’s easy to still have your privacy.

Frequently asked questions about Indiana dog fields

Where can I find dog fields in Indiana?

Indiana has 57 private dog fields available through Sniffspot, offering full-speed running and fetch in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 800+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Indiana dog fields provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog fields are in Indiana?

Indiana offers 57 dog fields ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find diverse options: fully-fenced for escape artists, indoor climate-controlled for year-round use, swimming pools for hot days, agility courses for training, and more. Each Indiana dog field listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Indiana dog fields good for all dog types?

Yes! Indiana dog fields work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Indiana's 57 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Indiana dog fields?

Not a chance. Indiana dog fields operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Indiana owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Indiana dog fields safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Indiana dog fields provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a large, open grass area where dogs can run at full speed and play fetch without overwhelming encounters. Many Indiana dog owners specifically choose dog fields for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Indiana dog fields?

Absolutely! Indiana dog fields are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a large, open grass area where dogs can run at full speed and play fetch, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog field in Indiana?

Start by filtering Indiana's 57 dog fields for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Indiana's Mutts of Merit in Motion, Indiana, PA with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Indiana owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Indiana's dog field requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Indiana host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog fields welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
