Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. Please feel free to use our deck area while your furry friend is sniffin’ around :) We have two dogs, a cane corso-great dane mix and a terrier mix. They’ll both be inside during your visit and cannot get outside. The terrier might be watching at the patio glass door but is friendly! The terrier is also a puppy and likes to dig holes in the yard - she is not allowed but persists! Please don’t let your dog to dig in these holes. There’s a water bowl outside we can fill up with tap water before your arrival. Lastly, the neighbourhood is very quiet and the yard gets lots of sun. There’s street parking available. Enjoy! Our farm is located on 100 acres of beautifully scenic property and we have opened 26 acres of that space for you to explore. Our property is on predominantly flat elevation with trails, multiple fields and roughly 7 acres of forest. While the forest can be dense in spots, it is very walkable and presents a lovely spot to hike through. We have 5 ponds as well as a stream that runs the width of our property and travels through the forest. We have a myriad of wildlife that you may see or encounter during your adventures here. These could include (but are not limited to) great blue herons, muskrats, rabbits, geese, ducks, deer and coyotes. We do have livestock and a guardian dog on the property (they are fully fenced) as well as family pets so please respect their space and ensure your dogs are leashed anytime you are nearing the barn, paddock or barnyard areas.
