Riverview Loop

A Pacific Forestlands loop with beautiful views of the South fork of the Stilliguamish River. A loop in the woods with views rarely seen. Enjoy the seasonal creek and PNW fauna and feel free to make the area yours. Please note we have two separate SniffSpot listings so be sure to double check you are right the correct location upon arrival. The Riverview loop is the spot located on the east side of the road.

Hike up the mini forest

Our property is shy of 12 acres, 9+ acres of which we're sharing as a private off leash dog space or Sniffspot. The entrance is over the bridge where the creek is and 'From Creek to Back of Property' is all yours to explore. You may chain the gate & unleash your doggies right after the bridge. Dogs might run down the creek for a splash or drink. Continue on to our family campground, there are picnic tables you could use. Then, up the hill you go to 'hike up the mini forest', free to roam around, listen to the birds, squirrels and other critters and sounds that nature brings you. You'll find seating areas while your dogs are at play, feel free to use them. Enjoy a picnic with your loved ones if you're up for it on one of the cabin porches or covered / uncovered picnic tables. The back of property behind fence is DNR land, so rest assured you’re on your own private little world with your furry buddies. The mini forest has some large walking paths and smaller trails scattered about, also some open meadows and is at a peaceful wooded setting. This is where I go to unwind and relieve my head of stress and worries. It’s my place of meditation, while my dogs sniff and romp around like crazy, do their zoomies and play hide n seek! Forget about the gym, you'll get your exercise here with your dogs. As mentioned, there are cabins on the property. Sniffspot is unavailable if the Cabins are booked or vice versa. Booking is through Hipcamp (hipcamp.com). Name of listing: 'Grace E.'s Mini Forest Cabins'. Check it out and Search listing through the hipcamp site. Saturdays are usually blocked IF there's Hipcamp bookings. I would Unblock the hours for Sniffspot use if that day isn't booked for Hipcamp, so please try to check back, who knows that day might be available! Lake Cavanaugh K9 Ranch

22 forested acres with private trails and an open field area located in the power line clearing. Includes private land access to state forest trails with views. Once you park you will see the trail entrance into the forest in front of you. Take the trail down to the creek. Water levels in the creek vary depending on the time of year. Cross the creek using the foot bridge and head through the forest. In about .3 miles you will come out into the powering line clearing. Feel free to explore everything in front of you and to the left (north). There are several wide open grass spaces in the power line to play fetch or just let the dogs run and be dogs. I will send you detailed instructions for the hike up the mountain upon request. This is a real hike and I recommend hiking attire. Please bring water for yourself and your dogs. The hike is about 3.5 miles and 800 feet of elevation gain. I recommend booking at least 2 hours to complete. If you want to hang out and enjoy the views you may want to book more than 2 hours.

Pacific Forestlands Forest Walk

This forest walk is an experience under the canopy with just the right amount of sun. The main path is easy loop to walk and you will always find your way back. Immerse yourself in the PNW and show your pups what it’s like to run in the woods without worry. -Use our ball throwing area for extra exercise -Let them swim in the shallow pond! .-Learn about native plants from interpretive signs provided using resources from the Stillaguamish Tribe. There is a walking access road from entrance clear to creek, dry year round for fast walksing. The creek rises & falls. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK ROAD. Enter at large Black Gate on Right side, pull gate towards car. There is BungeeCord at top to keep closed. Pull into right side by Parking Sign at Chainlink Gate. Black Pond Farm - Explore Trails/Woodland Hiking!

It’s always been very safe for off leash woodland adventures...because it feels like you have it all to yourself. You begin down at the lower pond by the castle and rock wall, Following a laidback walk in the shade up to the upper pond, woods and off leash park. There is bug spray along the trail in case you forget to use some and want it. Please respect other visitors and make sure to put your doggie bags in the provided trash bins, and PLEASE do not put your doggie bags in the fire pit!!!

Dragonfly Farm - Family & Dog Friendly Private Park In Snohomish

Magical Mossy Forest

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Fifteen acres of what dogs actually want. A two-acre pasture for a flat-out run, wooded trails that go on longer than you'd expect, gentle inclines, and long straight stretches for the dogs who like to open the throttle. The smells out here are the good stuff — rabbit, damp earth, and a hundred things your dog won't tell you about. Two horses live here and roam loose. They're calm, completely uninterested in dogs and people, and unbothered even by barking — most guests find them a lovely part of the visit. If you are concerned about the horses, please message me upon booking and I will make sure they are in their own pasture for your visit. Come for a sniffari, a hard run, or a peaceful wander with a hot drink after in the little indoor café. Quiet, beautiful, and for your visit, entirely yours.

Woodland Tranquility Pathways - find solitude!

Off-grid Sniffspot location in rural Snohomish Washington! You will have the entire 5-acre property to yourself to enjoy! This part of our property is only used for Sniffspot guests. Would be perfect for those that don’t want to interact with others (i.e. cars driving by, strangers, the neighbors...). Safe place for adventurous individuals that prefer to explore alone with their doggo(s), a doggie daycare retreat (we are very popular with dog walkers and their packs of furry clients), a memorable late evening of star-gazing, or a safe place for a highly reactive dog to have fun. Details: 5 acres, off-grid experience (no power) with it’s own private entrance. Secluded, native woodland experience with mowed grass. Two grassy sloping yard areas, a covered shelter with a table and chairs and “Tranquility Trails” that loop up the hill to a shady, fern filled, mossy ravine with a seasonal stream.. There are (overgrown) cottage style gardens near the Parking Area. During your visit, feel free to pick wild blackberries, apples or roses — or pull weeds — if that’s fun for you. 😉. This location is very relaxing. Plan for a couple hours or more to enjoy the quiet, rural lifestyle. TIP: if you have any concerns about your pup(s) going down the driveway, feel free to close the gate for added safety. Note: We are raising money to renovate the cottage located on the property by hosting a Sniffspot. Please do not explore inside the house, a roof collapse happened before we could arrange for it to be replaced.

Large field, plus a couple trails to explore. We have a seasonal stream that flows through the property. Follow the sign says "to the Barn" however, we do not have a barn just yet. We are in the process of clearing blackberries so we can put in a pasture for my horse and goats. Please don't leave plastic bags of poop in the field.

A walk in Dons woods

We have a number of wide moss covered walking trails through the woods. The property is fully fenced with wire fencing. But it is NOT dog proof fencing . There is a natural wide buffer between trails and fencing in most spots. The west side has privacy fencing, hogwire fencing on the North and a creek borders the Southend. . We have dogs on the property but they do not go venturing into the woods unless we are with them.

Please Note: 11/25/22- I’ve decided to open up the calendar for a bit to allow reservations with greater ease, but I do still ask that you message first in case someone related to our forest cleanup project is on-site. 10/1/22- At this time the property could be potentially available for your use, however, we are preparing for the forest cleanup project that we’ve been working towards with the DNR for over a year. If you are interested in visiting here, please message and if it works out I’ll be happy to accommodate you. 07/01/22- Important: The Sniffspot platform does not allow hosts the option to approve or cancel reservations, as such I have blocked my calendar to more easily control reservations. I often don’t know until last minute when the forest manager I’m working with for the DNR forest cleanup project is on-site, the logging will take place hopefully this winter. — This 21-acre forest with a large beaver pond is classified as a class-A wetland. In addition to this, you can find a shallow creek, beaver dams, old-growth forest, and phenomenal bird habitat. Find privacy and quiet with the exception of the songs of many birds and woodpeckers. This property was once a show home, but a fire took place over 10 years ago and the house was not rebuilt. While the ruins that remain are minimal, it sets an interesting backdrop; perhaps it can be the scene for a mysterious photoshoot. Within the property is a small orchard, we do ask to try to not let the pups do their business there. Spring 2022 Update: One picnic table have been added to the property.
