Welcome to Fletcher's Paradise! Fletcher loves his newly fenced in yard so much he wanted to share with other dog friends! Please note, we do have a no trespassing sign on our gate, however Sniffspot guests are always welcome! Please ensure the gate is closed. We kindly ask that you pick up after your dog, and ensure they aren't digging in our yard. We hope your dogs enjoy Fletcher's Paradise as much as he does! M-F guests are free to park in our driveway. If you are using our space on a weekend, you are welcome to park in the clinic parking lot next door! Please use the gate by the back corner of the house to access our space! We do live across from the city pool. There is usually a bit of noise during the day when the pool is open, and in the evenings.

Large fenced in yard in North Farmington. We do not have any pets, but some of our neighbors do and there is a walking path behind the yard so people and dogs will walk by often. Decent amount of shade from the trees in the morning, and good shade after 5pm. There are some plants and bird feeders in the yard, but nothing toxic.

There are 2 small gaps that dogs under 10Lbs could fit under!

Maplewood Farm Dog Retreat | 5-Acre Nature Escape

Welcome to Maplewood Farm Dog Retreat -- a peaceful 5-acre nature escape in south Maplewood near Battle Creek, just minutes from I-94 & McKnight. This is still undeveloped farmland tucked into the suburbs, with rolling hills, mature trees, wooded trails, open field space, wildlife sightings and scents (ton of bunnies!), and a very different feel from a typical backyard spot. Dogs get room to run, sniff, explore, and decompress away from crowded dog parks. For history buffs, the property also has the only standing barn in Maplewood, built in 1896, still in its original form and in use. It’s also an escape for hoomans -- a quiet place to breathe, be alone with nature, bring family for a simple picnic, or just sit under the trees while your pup explores. Peaceful and private, but still only minutes from St. Paul. Think of it as a little respite from busy life. There’s even an apple tree, which adds to the old farm feel. You can book this spot two ways: Quick 30-min visits are great for dogs who just need to burn energy fast. Parking is right next to the gate into the main fenced play area, so it’s easy to get in, let your pup run, play fetch, do zoomies, and head out. For 30-min visits, please use the fenced play area only. Water play is not included, and I usually won’t come out to greet you so you can make the most of your time. For the full Maplewood Farm experience, I recommend booking 1-2 hours. That gives you time to enjoy the fenced play area plus a slower long-leash walk around the block-long property, full of wildlife scents, wooded trails, scenic views, open field space, nooks and crannies, and peaceful places to take in nature. The main fenced play area is approx. 60 ft x 100 ft and is great for off-leash play, fetch, zoomies, tug with the spring pole, and burning off energy. For longer visits, there is also a self-serve water-play area with a splash pad and overhead sprinkler/mister, plus a sprayer if you want to rinse or bathe your pup on the grass. For longer visits, a good route usually starts in the fenced area, then continues through the back gate into the wooded trail system. You can loop toward the house and barn (you may hear my dogs bark), continue through the mature forest trail, use the runner trolley system for semi-free roaming, then circle back toward the open field. Signs are posted to help guide you. Just outside the fenced area, I’ve added a cozy campfire seating area overlooking the dog park and much of the property. In summertime, I highly recommend booking around 7-9pm for a sunset and campfire experience. The seating area is partly shaded by trees, includes a clean hammock, and is a peaceful way to wind down the day with your best friend in the world. Evening guests who book 1.5+ hours are welcome to use the campfire area, with plenty of firewood, at no extra cost when conditions allow. This is a natural, dog-friendly space, not a suburban yard. Dogs are welcome to explore, climb on log and wood chip piles, chew or pull on tree branches, sniff around, dig in appropriate natural areas, and enjoy the property in whatever way feels safe and appropriate to you. I’m not precious about the landscape here, especially since the property may be developed next year. While it’s still open, I want our furry friends to have it and enjoy it. Foster dogs and dogs with physical or sensory challenges are welcome to visit for a steep discount -- I’d love for them to enjoy this space too, just message me before booking. Since I live and work on-site, the spot is open pretty much anytime, from early morning to late evening, so you can book around your dog’s energy level, the weather, or your own schedule. I’m also planning to add night lights soon, so sundown won’t be an issue (super undistracted)! As a dog lover and builder, I’m always improving the space and adding more dog-friendly features. Our Sniffspot is less than 10 min off 35W. The space if fully fenced and almost a full acre. This fence is along the road and isn't connected to any buildings. The space is a gradual hill so you will get a workout walking around the space.

My backyard offers 2 acres of fully fenced forested area with over 50 trees within that area! We keep a trail mowed that loops down into the bottom of the yard so you have a comfortable walking trail and your 4 legged friends can use it as a racetrack! Tons of smells to sniff and ample room for zoomies! There are some stickers/burrs in areas of the yard. For winter months, the slope in the yard can get icy so please wear good shoes and be mindful. My chickens have free rein to the property when there are no visitors so there will always be chicken poop on the ground in some areas more so than others. Chickens will always be secured in their predator proof coop and run. There are toys, a garbage can, a dog bowl, and extra poop bags on the patio just before the wooden stairs. Please feel free to park in the driveway on the right side of the garage!

10 Beautiful Acres with River 12 minutes from Hudson WI

5/15/26 update: All paths are mowed, field entrance to drive in is now available (unless heavy rain, then their may be orange cones in the drive) In that case PARK only at the barn/field entrance and walk in. Traffic - To the spot the drive has no major road work slowing you down but LEAVING through Hudson can have long back ups. Please check your maps for delays or other routes. ***Also, it is tick season, do check your dog! This is a beautiful piece of land with a (mostly) fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will both love it here! The river is cold, clean and easy for dogs to hop in and out, also humans but a bit muddy at the easiest entrance. If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!) Good idea to bring towels although some dogs dry off by the time they run back to the car! We love sharing the space, thank you for review pics!
