It is about a 1 mile trail or more. trails are not plowed open in the winter but are perfect for snow shoeing, hiking an fat tire bikes in the snow on the trails or perfect spring to fall on the maintained trails.

5/15/26 update: All paths are mowed, field entrance to drive in is now available (unless heavy rain, then their may be orange cones in the drive) In that case PARK only at the barn/field entrance and walk in. Traffic - To the spot the drive has no major road work slowing you down but LEAVING through Hudson can have long back ups. Please check your maps for delays or other routes. ***Also, it is tick season, do check your dog! This is a beautiful piece of land with a (mostly) fenced perimeter and 1/3 acre fully fenced doggy play area. If you drive in by the picnic table you are in the center of 18 acres to play on and will be quite a distance from the road. There are mowed walking paths to the beautiful Kinnickinnic river, far away from other people and animals. You and your dog will both love it here! The river is cold, clean and easy for dogs to hop in and out, also humans but a bit muddy at the easiest entrance. If you want to keep them out of the water there is about 10 acres of open field where you park, separate and above the river so you don't need to have them down by the water at all. (although most dogs gravitate to there!) Good idea to bring towels although some dogs dry off by the time they run back to the car! We love sharing the space, thank you for review pics!

For history buffs, the property also has the only standing barn in Maplewood, built in 1896 and still in use. QUICK 30-MIN VISITS are great for pups who just need to burn energy, stretch their legs, or take a potty break. The main fenced play area is approx. 60 x 100 ft, with room for off-leash play, fetch, zoomies, a 7-ft spring pole, balls, frisbees, tug ropes, and poop bags. Water play includes a popular splash pad, bathing sprayer with doggie shampoo, and a fancy lawn sprinkler with settings for pups who love “eating water” lol! Welcome to Fletcher's Paradise! Fletcher loves his newly fenced in yard so much he wanted to share with other dog friends! Please note, we do have a no trespassing sign on our gate, however Sniffspot guests are always welcome! Please ensure the gate is closed. We kindly ask that you pick up after your dog, and ensure they aren't digging in our yard. We hope your dogs enjoy Fletcher's Paradise as much as he does! M-F guests are free to park in our driveway. If you are using our space on a weekend, you are welcome to park in the clinic parking lot next door! Please use the gate by the back corner of the house to access our space! We do live across from the city pool. There is usually a bit of noise during the day when the pool is open, and in the evenings.
