55This morning we had SO much fun! We brought our 3 dogs (6 month pup, 2 year old and a 13 year old) they all had a blast. We felt safe allowing our babies to roam the property, the fence is clear and visible. Plenty of space to explore! There are short (not steep) hills to walk up and down, trails to follow and openly available water bowls and garbage can for poop bag disposal. 55This is a large sloping fenced lot with some little mini trails throughout. My dog is a scent hound and enjoys this type of terrain.
This is actually our second visit but I did not review the first time because we.did not stay; she was stung by a fire ant outside the gate (we arrived 10 minutes early after a long drive since traffic can be unpredictable, and she had to potty so I walked her in front of the gate.) Not the hosts fault; they were very communicative and my first visit was fully refunded.
I did not see any fire ants inside the actual yard this visit.
Maybe chat with the host beforehand to get the gate code or ensure the remote is by the water station. It was taken down this visit because of the rain, and cell service can be spotty.
Host dogs were outside in a fenced area behind the house; no big deal as there's plenty of other space to be, away from the house.
There are several sort of project sites throughout the yard with some potential hazards (photo of one example below this review), so maybe do a lap first so you know where they are and can have your dog steer clear, If your dog is nosy and likes to sniff every single corner like mine does.
I think if hosts continue to work on it this could be a really nice Sniffspot.

There were a few little hazards to be wary of as there are items on the property but the owners are wonderful and on top of it if you let them know. We plan on returning here as much as possible. The property to the right, two big fluffy dogs raced out and rushed the fence barking which scared my dog but I easily diverted her. Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog hiking trail?
In order to hike the trails, we require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot hiking trail at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
