55My pup had so much fun running around here! Unfortunately, some road closures from a storm delayed our arrival so we did not stay the full hour. The host was kind of enough to extend our visit some and although, we still left around our original end time; the gesture was very much appreciated. My pup’s favorite part was the area that had some what looked like short wheat. He had a blast jump in and around that area the most as he enjoys getting into tallish grass. This is definitely a spot we’ll visit again!Shanika G.

55Loved this spot. Plenty of space for our dog to run and the fence is very secure. There were 2 neighbor dogs who could been seen through the fence but they are very sweet and it was a positive interaction for my dog. Emily W.

55Lindsay communicated well regarding how to access the property and what to do with any used doggie bags. I brought water, water bowl, chuck it wand and balls, and doggie bags. It is apparent from the description to bring your own. The terrain is varied but works fine for ball retrieval. Jack was able to safely meet two sweet neighbor dogs (looked like golden doodle and pittie mix) through the fence in a small section where the wood fence was down but replaced with a secure barrier.

55Two frenchies & it was the perfect size! The dogs had a great time; it was secluded enough that our reactive Frenchie was not distracted even once. Martha’s communication was professional and prompt.

55This yard is fantastic! The dogs inside the house do bark, in case you have a reactive pup that may be set off by that. But it is a lovely yard with tons of toys & treats :) Heather D.

55Reese and Remmy love coming here! It’s spacious enough that they can ware themselves out but also not so big that I ever loose sight of them. It’s backed up by trees and a big chunk of land and the pups love watching the birds and and squirrels play in the trees. Plus the host leaves snacks out for pups AND people. Bonus for me 🤗Abigail L.

FAQ about our Gallatin dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 98% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Gallatin area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 138 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 22 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
