We will never approach you and your dog, however your dog may have a visual of one of our dogs. As well, your dog may hear barking from our dogs in their outdoor kennel. We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. All the fees go directly to the animals in our care. We’re located in rural upper East Stoney Creek. The total property spans around 60 acres, with an open space near the entrance and approx 1km pathway that leads to a forested space and more fields. The fields you’ll find upon entering are a distance from the road, however you will see and hear passing cars in the distance. Once you start your journey down the path, all road distractions will be out of sight. Since the property is unfenced, please be mindful if your pup is a flight risk. We’ve blocked off timeframes before 9am and between 530pm and 6pm- these are the typical times our animals take potty breaks!
