I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the winter, post rain, it can get VERY muddy back there. Years of dogs running around has torn up a lot of the ground cover and it's now just dirt, which becomes mud in the winter. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. There are some burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. I do my best to weed the weeds that produce them, but there still might be some. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. We value our neighbors and appreciate your help in respecting their homes while visiting our Sniffspot. The full lot is 0.3 acres with wildlife bordering majority of the yard - if you’re lucky, wildlife like deer & lots of squirrels + birds can be spotted! I pick up after my dogs on the weekend. Edit 1/19/25: Construction debris on/around the deck has been removed. Edit 4/17/25: Fencing along the right side (when you walk in) has been re-done! Edit 6/16/25: We have regularly scheduled landscaping which will hopefully help with foxtails. Please remember this is a yard and not a dog park. Edit 9/27/25: Please do not block any driveways including ours when finding parking. Edit 6/2/26: The calendar has been updated to reflect availability on week days from 7am-6pm. Weekends are no longer offered due to planned landscaping/maintenance to ensure better experience for visitors.
